CAMPEAU, Thérèse (née Laurin) of Hanmer

The family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury on August 5st, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Wife of the late Rhéal Campeau.  Daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (née Carrière) Laurin. Loving mother of Roger (Suzanne), Pauline Piquette (Gilbert), Benoit, Rejean (Beverely) and Julie Dénommé (Ronald) all of Hanmer. Dear sister of Cecile Gascon (late Réné) of Kitchener, Laurette Tousigny (late Léo) of Hanmer, Michel Laurin of Val Caron, Madeleine Généreux (late Réné) of Timmins and Normand of Val Caron. Predeceased by his brothers and sister Albert, Marcel and Anita Campeau (late Omer).  Dear grandmother of Alain (Meredith), Pierre (Jessica), Richard (Mélanie), Luc, Samantha (Alain), Kelly, David, Philipe and her great grandchildren Ryan, MacKenzie, Meah and Noah.  She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Thérèse was a lover of crafts, picking blueberries and an avid gardener. She was always there for her family. Many thanks to her granddaughter Kelly, our “soon-to-be-nurse” that spent endless days and nights with Mémère Campeau, many many thanks from all of us. At Thérèse’s request, there will be no visitation and a private service. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
