CAMPBELL: Mr. Kenneth of Sarnia (Formerly of Toronto, Ontario)
Campbell, Mr. Kenneth
Passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, March 29, 2013, at the age of 84 years, following a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his wife of almost 65 years, Evelyn Bernice Campbell; his daughters Kendra (John), Debra (Larry), Pamela (Ray), his son Brad (Christine), and his grandchildren Dawn, Natalie, Stephanie, Christina, and his sisters Judith, Jennifer, and Gwyneth. Predeceased by his brothers John and Bert, sisters Dorothy and Laurie, his parents John and Florence, and his step-mother Agnes.
After 46 years as a butcher with Canada Packers, Ken retired in 1991. He was an exceptional bowler and an avid golfer. Billiards was his game of choice in his senior years. Ken was proud of his family. He worked hard to provide a comfortable home and a good life for his wife and children. Ken and Bernice relocated to Bluewater Country in Sarnia in 2009 where they enjoyed the friendship of many fellow retirees, good times with the Rosina family, and visits from out of town family. Ken was always happiest when his family was gathered around him. He will be missed by family and friends.
A private family Funeral Service will be held at the WATFORD CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, with a private interment at St. James Cemetery, Watford, at a later date. For those who wish, in memoriam donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
