It is with heavy hearts that we announce heaven’s newest angel on August 5, 2018. Erma “Mimi” Bubrick is back in the arms of the love of her life Edward Bubrick (2006). She leaves behind her children Susan and Terry Chartrand, Nancy and Gary Garant. Her heart was always full of love and pride for her grandchildren; Allison (2015) and Jeremy Hayes, Amy and David Denyer, Adam and Katherine Chartrand, Tom and Alice Garant. The real twinkle of her blue eyes were her great-grandchildren Autum and Phoenix Chartrand, Mason Hunter and Cole Garant. Erma was the 10th child born to James and Elizabeth Soos on April 11, 1933. She is survived by her sisters Theresa Ryan, Irene Killen, sister-in-law Helen Soos, and many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Elsie, Mary, Rose, Helen, James, Frank and Margaret. She excelled at entertaining family and friends. Everyone was always welcomed at her dinner table. Edward and Erma built a home in South Windsor having one of the first in-ground pools, so every summer Sundays were like a family reunion. Erma’s legacy of being hard working, loving and support of her family and friends will live on into eternity. We would like to thank the nursing staff of the 7th and 8th floors of WRH Ouellette site for your caring and compassion, making mom’s last days the best they could be. We are forever grateful. If you so desire, donations to The Allie Sunshine Project (12437 Lanoue St. Tecumseh, ON N8N 1N4) would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Visitation Friday 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 with parish prayers at 8 pm.  On Saturday, friends are invited to join the family after 9:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Dr.) followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Share memories, photos or make a donation at www.FamiliesFirst.ca
