Charles Bublich passed away peacefully in Strathroy on September 2, 2013 with his family by his side, at 91 years of age. He was born on November 10, 1921, in Croatia and came to Canada in 1959 with his family. He was a successful businessman and tailor for more than 45 years in Sudbury. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors and was fiercely proud of his camp, commonly known as “paradise.” He maintained a lifelong pursuit of learning and was very well read, and a respected historian. He developed a love and talent for cooking in his later years. He loved entertaining friends and family and made new friends everywhere he went. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Angelina and his son-in-law Michael MacIsaac. He is survived by his daughters Kornelia Jones (Denis) and Valentina Bachmann (Ed), his grandchildren Michael MacIsaac (Summer), Jennifer Haydon (Richard), Stephen Jones (Victoria), Matthew MacIsaac ( May), Alison Lebold (Mark) and Julia MacIsaac and his great grandchildren Madison, Alexis, Ethan, William, Hilary, and Benjamin. . Resting at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, September 10th, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel.
