BruinsmaBRUINSMA; Alice age 81 of Riverview Gardens Chatham passed away peacefully to be with her Lord Saturday December 29, 2012 in Chatham. Born in Holland daughter of the late Jacob and Frederika (Tuitman) VanderBeek.  Her husband Abe Bruinsma has predeceased 2005. Survived by daughters: Freda & Jim Terpsta of P.E.I., Lucy Wassing of Badden, Dorothy & Fred Kroesbergen of Strathroy, Rita & William DeHaan of P.E.I., sons: Jacob Bruinsma of Kitchener-Waterloo, Simon & Margaret Bruinsma  of Dresden and Albert Bruinsma of Dresden, thirty grandchildren and many great grandchildren, sisters: Ann Hookstra (Dick) of Dunnville, Wilma Boersma (Ed) of Dunnville, Eike Dehaan (Bert) of Kemptville, brothers: Rev. Henry VanderBeek of Elliott lake, Arthur VanderBeek (Alice) of Dunnville. Also surviving are brother-in-law Mynert Haartman and sister-in-law Dini VanderBeek, Predeceased by brothers Albert and Ben,  sisters Thea and Hilda. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden Wednesday January 2, 2013, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the Christian Reformed Church Dresden at 12 noon with Rev. John Moelker officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetey. Memorial contributions to the Parkinson Foundation or World Renew would be appreciated and may be left at the funeral home.
