Brown: Kathleen of Hanover and formerly of Fordwich
Kathleen Brown, of Hanover, passed away at her home on Monday, October 14, 2013, in her 80th year.
Kathleen was born on January 11, 1934 to the late William and Bertha (nee Perry) Duncan in West Luther Township. She was a homemaker and enjoyed farming with her husband while raising their family in Fordwich and was a member of the United Church Women.
Survived by sons William (Debra) Brown of Hanover, John (Susan) Brown of Palmerston and David (Debra) Brown of Brantford, daughters Karen (Bruce) Fletcher and Janet (Brent) Wylie both of Hanover, grandchildren Tara, Kerri, Chelsea, Shelby, Erin, Travis, Trevor, Matthew, Crystal, Alyssa, Nicole and Joel and greatgrandchildren Leighton, Everett, Sophia, Myla, Grayson, Jillian and Brayden. Also survived by her brothers Ken (Donna) Duncan of Goderich and John (Doris) Duncan of Peterborough and brother-in-law Ivan Lowry of Arthur. Predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Brown and sister Marion Lowry.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm, at Grace United Church. Rev. Rienk Vlietstra officiating. Interment in Fordwich Cemetery.
