Ivin Brown, of Hanover, passed away at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Friday, April 18, 2014, in his 71st year.

Ivin was born on October 23, 1943 to the late Joe and Agnes (nee Cameron) Brown in Lindsay, Ontario. Ivin could be found driving taxi cab for DC Cab. He enjoyed being a member of the Hanover Lawn Bowling Club and a Veteran of the Hanover Legion Branch No. 130.

Survived by loving wife Julie Ibey, children Terry Brown, Laurie Brown, Christopher Brown and Gerri Brown. Also survived by siblings Ina Hughes of Lindsay, John Brown of Dalrymple, Pat (Mary) Brown of Oshawa, Wayne (Mary) Brown of Manilla, Maryetta (Murray) Arnott of Melville, Saskatchewan, Gwen (Wes) Sanders of Coboconk, Rosemarie Brown (Gord Kurrle) of Blackstock and Ronald (Donna) Brown of Minden and special cousin Dave McGill of Hanover. Predeceased by his sister Sharon Brown.

Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home (123 10th Street, Hanover) on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 10:00 until the time of the Hanover Legion Memorial Service at 11:00 am followed by a Celebration of his Life. Padre Wanda Goodyear officiated.

Inurnment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Norland.
