How sweet the hour of closing day! When all is peaceful and serene.   On August 12, 2012, Mary Hill Ferries Brimicombe passed peacefully and serenely at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, Ontario, predeceased by her husband, Roy Allen Brimicombe, in 1989.  We were blessed to have a Mom who was unconditional in her love of Michael (Jacqui Kozak) of Woodstock, Elaine (Eric Campbell) of Ottawa and Karyn (Tim Stacey) of Innisfil. Mom was extremely proud of her grandchildren: Amy (George Kardaras) and Sarah both of Ottawa, Victoria (University of Waterloo), RJ and Nicholas (Innisfil), Ryan and Adam (Whitby). Her great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Jack, Holden, Daveigh and Leia (Ottawa) will learn that Mom led a full and wonderful life, encouraged each of us to live to our potential and to leave no stone unturned.  Sister of Audrey Griffin (the late Charles) and Aunt Mary to the Brimicombe, Andoff, Tomlinson and Griffin families.  A special friend of Pat Stacey, the Meilach and Kaga families, and the Flood and Verni families. Mom would want us to thank the wonderful staff at Woodingford Lodge for their exceptional care and for making Mom’s journey peaceful and with dignity.  A private memorial will take place in Scarborough. Please consider supporting the Alzheimer Society Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow…®
