After a lengthy illness Pearl Grace Briden (nee Graham) passed away, on February 2, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, at the age of 86. Wife of the late Frank Edward (January, 1973). Mother of Diana (Charlie) McEachern, Edward (Angela) Briden, and Beverley (Thom) Workman. Predeceased by her brother Jack Graham (1973). She will be missed by her grandchildren Kimberley (Norman) Gagorek, Jason (Jennifer) Harris; Shanna (Joshua) Cremers, Blake, Chelsea and Rex Briden; Meredith, Bronwyn and Tristian Workman. Great grandmother to Braeden, Quinton Gagorek, and Alexis and baby Cremers.She cherished her pet Prince. Special thanks to a very good friend Colleen Bell, Marc and Alex; Dr. Maddison and all the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice. Pearl was very active at one time sewing, crocheting and knitting. She volunteered in British Columbia and Hamilton. She was very involved with Girl Guides for fifteen years – 6 of those years as Petrolia District Commissioner. At Pearl’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Pearl said she came into this world quietly and will leave quietly. Cremation has taken place.
