Adored mother to George Bresolin (Marietta), Lodovico Bresolin, Mary Knehler (George), and Lisa Larocque (Jamie). Bruna was also the loving mother-in-law to Patsy Bresolin (Renaud) who left us in 2005. Best Nonna in the world to Rebecca, Samantha (Michael), Christina, Dante, Adam, Olivia, Luke, Lauren and Emma. Devoted Bisnonna to Aiden. She was also the caring Zia to her many nieces and nephews both here in Canada, and in Italy. Bruna also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Giovanna Novelletto, her only sister in Canada. Her other siblings in Italy include Giusepina Lanzarini, Pia Gnesotto, Giovanni Saretta, Adriana Fietta, Severo Saretta, and the late Francesco Saretta(2012). Her thoughtful phone calls to Italy will be missed by all of her siblings, in laws, and cousins. She will be reunited with her parents in Heaven, Antonio (1976) and Maria (1992) Saretta.

Bruna was born in Casoni, Vicenza,Italy on June 26 1940. She bravely immigrated to Canada in 1959 where she would join Ferruccio and be married in Toronto on December 19, 1959. They lived there for the next seven years before moving to Windsor.

Bruna’s legacy is her family. She was a selfless, strong, generous, and loving person who lived for caring for her family and anyone who needed help. She worked for over 25 years at Devonshire Seniors Residence as a Nurses Aide. Her work ethic and compassion for her patients were unparalleled. She was truly a caregiver in every sense of the word.
