The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the age of 58 years.  Son of Elvine  (née Richard) Breau and the late William Breau.  Dear husband of Gisèle Claire Breau (née Godin) of Azilda. Loving father of Richard (Melissa) of Dowling, grandfather to Kaleb. Lovingly remembered by many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and his feline friend Mimi. John worked at Vale for over 30 years, as a chemist and his last year for internal audit. He was proud of his profession and taught Chemistry at Laurentian University for over 25 years on a part-time basis. Upon retiring John started his own consulting business, which he enjoyed. His main hobby was cruising with the Sudbury Corvette Club. John was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. John was also heavily involved with charitable organization having contributed to the success of many “Cruize for Food” events. John had great faith.  He truly will be missed. The family would like to thank the emergency department for their care of John and the Sudbury Regional Police officers who were so kind and helpful in our time of sorrow. John is now at equilibrium . The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd E., Sudbury, Monday June 18, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Funeral will be celebrated at 7 p.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
