While smiling and enjoying his pastime, passed away suddenly in Blind River on Thursday April 17, 2014. Perry Joe Boyer of Mississauga First Nation in his 45th year, beloved husband of Wanda Recollet for 16 years. Loving father of Guy Recollet ( Sherri ) of Blind River, Cassie Tremblay of BC, Becky Dickinson ( Jonathon ) of Blind River and Trisha Boyer of Mississauga First Nation. Special Papa Joe to Sierrah Colizza, Olivia Recollet, Rihanna Dickinson and Lucas “Skinner” Dickinson. Loved son of Larry and Leona Boyer and son-in-law of Leonard and Beatrice Recollet. Dear brother of Larry Jr. Boyer , Dwayne Boyer and Susan Miller ( Jason ) all of Toronto, Rita Wilson ( Brian ), Anita Desbiens ( Steve ) both of Mississauga First Nation, Roland Niganobe of Toronto, Clifford Niganobe, Ernestine McLeod ( Don ), Linda Niganobe, Evelyn Niganobe ( Mike ), Laurie Jacques ( Darrel ), Sheila Niganobe, Erica Niganobe ( Craig ), Amber Niganobe ( Rob ) and Charlene Niganobe all of Mississauga First Nation. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley Recollet, Doris Recollet, Debbie Recollet all of Blind River, Leonard Recollet of Edmonton and Joan Recollet ( Paul ) of Wahnipitae First Nation. Special friend of Eric Sarri, Greg Hammond and Dave Nichols. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Perry Joe will always be remembered for his endless love of his family, his positive attitude and his love of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was dedicated to the community of the Mississauga First Nation. Friends may call at the Mississauga First Nation Sports Complex on Wednesday April 23, 2014 from 1pm until time of story sharing and reflections on Perry Joe’s life on Friday April 25, 2014 at 9am. Funeral service at 11am Friday. Cremation to follow. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River.
