13260 Bowman1BOWMAN, Ross Alexander Thomas – Born December 4, 1939 to Mathew & Ina Bowman (deceased).  Passed peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care, on Sunday, November 10, 2013, in his 76th year.  Ross, is lovingly remembered by his wife and family; Lindsay “Lyn” of 52 years, his sons and daughter-in-laws, Brett and Debbie of Little Britain, and Shane and Sue of Cobourg.  He was proud grandfather “Poppa” of Kaelcey and Alex of Little Britain and Gracie and Gabrielle of Cobourg.  Dear brother of Ron and his wife Marilyn of MacArthur Mills, and brother-in-law of Mary Clements of Lindsay and Cathy Walton of Florida. Ross worked for General Motors Canada, Truck Plant, Oshawa for 33 years as a Time and Standards Engineer.   An avid hunter, fisherman, woodworker, a member of Oshawa Skeet & Gun Club and supporter of Ducks Unlimited.   A gathering of friends will be held at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL, 840 Armour Road, on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 3-5 pm.  Please come prepared to share your stories of Ross.  If desired, directions to the visiting, condolences to the family, or donations to PRHC Foundation, may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL at 705-740-0444.
