Family gatherings and dinners were always enhanced by her famous cabbage rolls or clam chowder or whatever other delights she would produce from her kitchen.
Mom enjoyed golfing and especially playing with her Tuesday evening ladies group at Oxley. She looked forward to the times she was able to spend with friends in Texas and Florida. Friends and family will smile as they recall the Sunday outdoor breakfasts that happened for years in Colchestervillage. Mom had the greatest sense of humour, enamouring everyone who came to know her. Even after she found out she was so ill, she was still playing little jokes on us all to keep our spirits up. She taught us all how to live and she taught us how to die always expressing gratitude for anything anyone did for her. Visitation at GERALD A. SMITH FUNERAL HOME 197 King St. W.
