Americo was the devoted and much loved husband of his “Rosebud” Rose Marie (nee Curti) for almost 19 years. Loving and cherished father of Angelo and Briana. Treasured son of Margherita and the late Angelo Bortolin (1993). Loved brother to his twin sister Pierina and husband Ivan Pittao and Joanne and husband Frank Szekely. Dear son-in-love of Nino and Cleta Curti. Dear brother-in-love of Cynthia and husband Charlie Borg and Lia and husband Dan Bennett. Adored Zio of Michelle (nee Pittao) and husband Dennis Meloche. Adored Zio and Godfather of Steven Pittao and wife Valerié (nee Paquet). Adored Patino and Zio of Luca Bennett. Adored Zio of Nina Bennett, Adriana and Julian Borg, and Joella and Joshua Szekely. Adored Great-Zio of twins Lauren and Matthew Meloche and Vincent Pittao. Treasured nephew of Ida Bortolin (late Mario), Corrado Santarossa (late Elda), Mary Santarossa (late Peter), and the late Luigi and Palmira Bortolin, late Mario Santarossa, late Antonietta and Gino Favaro. He will be sadly missed by his family in Italy. Dear Nephew-in-love of Sid and Lia Santia and Tony and Alberta Cerilli. Americo touched many lives and will be dearly missed by many cousins and friends. He graduated from W.D. Lowe Technical School and St. Clair College. Americo retired from Ford Motor Company after 28 years of service. He was a long-time member of the Folgolar Furlan Club.
