Bodkin, R. Mildred of Aylmer, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3rd, 2013, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Leon F. Bodkin (1964) and dearly loved mother of Paul D. Bodkin of Aylmer. She was  the last of her family. Predeceased by a sister Lita  Stuttle and 2 brothers A. Clarence Moore and W. Stanley Moore. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews.  Mildred was born in Springfield on December 23, 1918, the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Andrews) Moore.  She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church and was a long time member of the U.C.W.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service to celebrate Mildred’s life will be held on  Thursday  at  11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Aylmer Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.  Remembrances may be made to the Rotary Club Aylmer, London, Middlesex-Elgin Scholarship Fund for Music and Movement. There will be a memorial concert to celebrate Mildred’s life on Friday, June 21st at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas Christian Church, Wellington St., St. Thomas. Proceeds  will go to   the  Rotary  Scholarship Fund.
