Berry- Marvin Howard of Port Stanley passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family at his late residence on Monday, November 5, 2012 in his 75th year. Dearly loved husband of 53 years of Margaret (Earl) Berry and loved father of Mike and Marna ( Eddie) of Port Stanley. Loved grandfather of Blake, Michael, Carlos and Drake and special grandfather of Brandon Walsh (Ann) and their daughter Ava. Dear brother of Mary Jane Smith of Port Stanley and dear father-in-law of Brenda Jennings (Steve) and their children Stephanie and Shane. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marvin was born April 27, 1938 in Port Stanley, the son of the late Josephine (Susko) and Blake Berry. Marvin was a retired fisherman and owned and operated a marine construction business. He was a member of Christ Church (Anglican), Port Stanley and was a member of St. Mark’s Lodge #94 A.F.& A.M. Marvin was a target shooter and was a member of the Single Action Shooting Society where he was known as “Left Hand Luke”.

The funeral service to celebrate Marvin’s life will be held at the Christ Church Anglican in Port Stanley (283 Colborne St) on Thursday November 8th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Food Bank (care of Christ Church) or to Christ Church (Anglican), Port Stanley.
