At Parkwood Hospital, on Wednesday January 2, 2013 Albert Hayward “Ab” Bell of London in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Bowie) Bell. Dear father of Susan Onn and her husband Stephen of St. Thomas, Brian Bell and his wife Linda of London and David Bell of British Columbia.  Dear father-in-law of Rosemary Best of British Columbia. Also loved by his grandchildren Amanda Marcinkiewicz and her husband Stephen, Heather Dale and her husband Jamey, Wendy Gordon, Zachary and Seth Bell, Christine, Michael, Allison and Brenda Bell and by his great-grandchildren: Tyler, Troy, Maddy, Emelia, Jacob, Jesse and Atticus. Ab proudly served during WWII in the Royal Canadian Navy as a signal man on board the Frigate Lanark in convoy duty on the north Atlantic.  Ab was a teacher and head of the graphic arts department at Beal Secondary School for 33 years. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11am with Reverend Michael J. Stol officiating. Private family interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
