Dianne Beckberger, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was 67.
Born in Hanover on April 24, 1946 to the late Vincent and Margaret (nee Esbaugh) Schwoob. With her husband Robert, Dianne raised three children and was faithfully active at Holy Family Church in Hanover and a past member of the Catholic Women’s League.
Survived by loving husband Robert Beckberger of Hanover, daughter Kimberly (friend Joe Altman) of Walkerton, Robin (Ryan) Hamilton of Bowmanville and son Michael Beckberger of Hanover. Proud grandma of Sarah, Jordan, Alisha, Mikey, Amanda and Scott and only great granddaughter Isabella. Dianne will be fondly remembered by her brothers Bob (Maddy) Schwoob of Wiarton, Gary (Carol) Schwoob of Hamilton, sisters Donna (Clarke) Chambers of Clifford, Mary (David) Andrews of Hanover, Darlene (Gary) Thistle of Tavistock. Predeceased by her parents and her brother Tommy Schwoob and great grandson Patrick.
Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday 2-3:30 and 7-9 pm with C.W.L Prayers and Vigil Rites at 3:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:00 am, at Holy Family Church. Father David Weise officiated.
Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.
Memorial donations to Holy Family Church or to the Paul Serre Memorial Educational Scholarship Fund were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
