BEAULNE, SimonePeacefully passed away with her family by her side at St. Joseph Villa Nursing Home on Friday, November 29th, 2013 at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Philippe Beaulne and by her son Bernard (Margaret). Loving mother of Monique Marshall (Claude), Colette McLean (Ken) and Carole Dodge all of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Brian (Nica), Daniel Beaulne, Scott McLean, Lynne von Wistinghausen, Natalie, Michael Marshall (Charmaine), Kristan Mulligan (Lee), Melissa Dodge (Coel Barbeau). Great-grandmother of Evan, Isabel, Justin, Chelsea, Madeline, Jake Beaulne, Kyle and Kaitlyn Marshall-Bergeron, Andrew, Jayden, Ethan Mulligan, Nathan and Julia von Wistinghausen, Ryder and Mavie Barbeau, Ethan, Gavin, Logan Marshall. Predeceased by her parents Dovina (Henri) and Moise Pharand. Dear sister of Rita Portelance (Roland St. Germain). Sister-in-law to Lucille Pharand (late Leo). Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Fovita, Marie Jeanne Bodson (René), Germain (Irène), Gédéon (Madeleine), Omer (Mildred) and Maurice (Yvette). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and her special friend Louise Henning and family. She will also be missed by her St. Joseph Villa friends where she resided for ten years. During her life, Simone was always willing to lend a helping hand to any family member, friends and anyone in need. She created with her love of God a source of inspiration that has touched everyone who knew her. In keeping with Simone’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Better Beginnings Better Futures Baby’s Breath Program would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
