web_Barrette, PaulIt is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a great man on November 2nd, 2013 at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving family. Reunited with his beloved soulmate Marie-Thérèse.  Cherished father of Robert, Denis, Thérèse (Jill), grandfather of Jennifer (Art), Christopher and Great-grandfather of Connor and Jasper. Survived by brother Leonard and sisters Lorraine, Agnes, Edna, Jean, Leona, Virginia. Pre-deceased by siblings Orval, Felix, Norman, Richard, Vincent, John, Victor, Deanna and Rose Alma. Paul retired from Wyeth Pharmaceutical after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus River Canard and an avid musician for the majority of his life. We would like to thank the staff of Chartwell Oak Park and Seasons Amherstburg for their love and support during dad’s stays and express our sincere gratitude to Nurse Rachel on the 2nd floor of Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus for her care and compassion during dad’s final hours. If you so desire, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Visiting Tuesday 6-9pm with Prayers at 7:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Wednesday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Joseph’s River Canard (9399 Townline Rd.) after 9am, followed by Funeral Mass at 10am.
