Peacefully at Wentworth Lodge, Dundas on Thursday, May 31, 2012, Eden Avery, formerly of Iroquois, Ontario and latterly of Waterdown, in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Avery.  Loved mother of John and Diana of Waterdown, Janice Gallagher of Brockville, and Anne and John Roberts of Scarborough.  Loved Grandma, Grammy, and Nana of six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  Survived by her brother Lawrence “Larry” and his wife Gwen Ellis of Manotick and predeceased by her brother Retired Brigadier General Robert Ellis.  Will also be dearly missed by her friend Nancy Watters.  Special thank you to the staff at Wentworth Lodge for all their loving care for Eden.  Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH, 157 Mill St. N.
