George went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on November 3, 2018. He was a man who had a deep love for his Saviour and family and his passion for telling others about the hope we have in Christ was contagious. Beloved husband for 72 years of Doreen. Loving father of Sandi Smith (Ken), Patti-Jo Cross (Tim), Russ Bisnett (Rachel). Adored grandfather of Kristy Beneteau (Ev), Kevin Smith (Susan), Jamie Smith (Meghan), Corrynn Peters (Kelly), John Cross, Kandice Ketterling (Joe), Lizzy Cadwallader (Brian), Ashley Bisnett, Kailee Fabok (Joel), Bryce Bisnett. Great grandfather of Tristan, Ava, Ellie, Evelyn, Grayson, Josie, Zac and Addilyn. Also lovingly remembered by his brother Gordon (Phyllis). Predeceased by his sister Jessie, and brothers Jack and Graydon. George will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. RENAUD, Noreen (nee Forrester)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noreen Renaud at the age of 94 on November 3, 2018. Noreen is survived by her four children, Paula (Linc Kesler), Suzanne (Ravin Nath), Richard (Sam Hedges) and Gregory (Nora McBean), nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and dear sisters Shirley, Brenda and Helen. She was predeceased by her loving husband Armand, mother Mary Helen (Nellie), father Frederick, brothers Neil, Earl and Norman. Born in Montreal, after completing high school, Noreen worked at Bell Canada and Dominion Securities. After her marriage she, Armand and growing family lived in various communities in Northern Ontario before settling in Windsor, Ontario. Noreen eventually returned to work at Bell Canada, until her retirement at age 65. Noreen had a full life, focusing her seemingly boundless positive energy, compassion and industrious nature on her family, friends and home. Although geographically distant, her home was always a hub where her children, grandchildren, siblings and many close friends were welcomed with joy, caring, attention and of course, wonderful meals. The family wish to extend their warmest thanks to the staff of the memory care unit at Seasons Amherstburg, the Hospice Residential Home (Leamington), and to Dr. Tom Deklaj for his compassion and care. Passed away peacefully on October 30, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Dearest father to Mary Lou (Rick) Cosby and Angela Berriman. Cherished grandpa to Nicole, Laura, Kaitlyn, Chase and great-grandpa to Madeleine and Rohan. He will be sadly missed by his long-time friend and business partner, Caroline ”Connie” Meyer.

Gary was the owner and founder of The Tax Stop Ltd for 31 years. The family and Connie would like to extend a special thank you to Amy’s Helping Hands, especially Mary and Irene.

Norman passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 28, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Liz (2018). It is with sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Susan Woodrich at the age of 67.

Sue was an amazing mom and friend to all that knew her. Susan is predeceased by her parents Edna Allan (John Horvath) and Edward Allan, and her brother Tom Allan (Willie). She will be greatly missed by her sons; Jason Anthony Woodrich and Chad Woodrich, estranged husband; Glenn Woodrich, her brother; Donald (late Barbara), along with grandchildren, Tyara & Taylor and many nieces and nephews.

Susan had just recently retired from the Canadian Consulate after 42 years and will be sadly missed by her extended work family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jody and Cheryl for their care and compassion with Jason during this time of need.

He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 399, and was known for living the simple life, where he enjoyed his time with family, being on the water, water skiing and being an avid sports fan. We are sad to announce the passing of Mario Migliarese on October 31st 2018, he will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife Rose Mary Migliarese, along with their children Joseph Migliarese (Gina Bussoli), Tony Migliarese (Nicole Rigaux) and grand daughter Lucia Rose. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Francesco Migliarese survived by mother in law Maria Lopez (Felice Lopez, deceased)
Brother to Giuseppe (Deceased) and Angela Migliarese, Angelo (Deceased) and Caterina Migliarese, Giovanni Migliarese (Costanza), Salvatore Migliarese (Franca), Antonio Migliarese (Maria), Teresa (Pasquale) Straface (deceased), Maria and Giovanni Barile (deceased), Caterina Bitoni (Salvatore), Franca Lopez (Antonio – Deceased). Mario owned and operated along with his wife DiVino Trattoria in Essex, Ontario for 13yrs where he was very dedicated in serving his loyal customers. Mario had a passion for the restaurant. He was also a member of the Caboto Club for over 25 years, there he enjoyed his Sunday afternoons watching televised Italian soccer games with his friends. He loved the game and had a vast knowledge of soccer. Special thank you to our cousin Tony Barile for his constant Support, who was always there for Mario during his journey, he attended every doctors appointment, every chemo session and taking the time to take Mario out for pizza or whatever he wanted to do. Heart filled thank you to Mario’s home nurse Jocelyn, and a special thank you to the staff at hospice especially Dr. Stephen Rukavina for all their kindness and support. Special thank you to Dr.Dean Favot, for always being there for Mario whether for medical reasons or just being a supportive friend. Bresolin, Bruna

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Bruna Bresolin (nee: Saretta) on October 27, 2018. She was the loving and dedicated wife to Ferruccio for 59 years. Adored mother to George Bresolin (Marietta), Lodovico Bresolin, Mary Knehler (George), and Lisa Larocque (Jamie). Bruna was also the loving mother-in-law to Patsy Bresolin (Renaud) who left us in 2005. Best Nonna in the world to Rebecca, Samantha (Michael), Christina, Dante, Adam, Olivia, Luke, Lauren and Emma. Devoted Bisnonna to Aiden. She was also the caring Zia to her many nieces and nephews both here in Canada, and in Italy. Bruna also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Giovanna Novelletto, her only sister in Canada. Her other siblings in Italy include Giusepina Lanzarini, Pia Gnesotto, Giovanni Saretta, Adriana Fietta, Severo Saretta, and the late Francesco Saretta(2012). Her thoughtful phone calls to Italy will be missed by all of her siblings, in laws, and cousins. She will be reunited with her parents in Heaven, Antonio (1976) and Maria (1992) Saretta.

Bruna was born in Casoni, Vicenza,Italy on June 26 1940. She bravely immigrated to Canada in 1959 where she would join Ferruccio and be married in Toronto on December 19, 1959. They lived there for the next seven years before moving to Windsor.

Bruna’s legacy is her family. She was a selfless, strong, generous, and loving person who lived for caring for her family and anyone who needed help. She worked for over 25 years at Devonshire Seniors Residence as a Nurses Aide. Her work ethic and compassion for her patients were unparalleled. She was truly a caregiver in every sense of the word. Anyone that has ever met her knows that she was a compassionate and kind woman who would give you anything she had and made you feel loved.

Peter Liscio passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, October 26, 2018. Peter will be remembered as being a loving and caring individual, one who lived life passionately and without reservations. From the early age of 16, Peter was a prominent hairstylist in Toronto and achieved many accolades through his active career. With his personable and charismatic affection, Peter successfully built and owned numerous hair salons in Toronto, as well as in Windsor. He had a passion for life that will be remembered amongst all who knew him. Peter was a kind hearted, generous and giving father, brother, and friend. Peter’s special love were his sons, Adam (wife Danielle) and Julian; and special loving bond to his grandchildren Amelia and Donovan. Loving son to Pasquale and Dorotea; brother to Antonio (Carmela); Michela (Rocco); Giuseppe (Angela). Loving uncle to Anthony (Anne), David (Melissa) Paul (Andrea), Anna, Lisa (Kam), Patrick, Christina, Dora, Sonia, Danny and Mary. Great-uncle to Braydon, Ava, Rocco, Kazem, Luca, Max, and Leo. Family & friends will be received at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519.253.7234. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 for visitation from 9am until the time of service at 12pm. DRAKE, Dr. Robert Michael

Born in London, England on April 19, 1937. Died peacefully at home on October 16, 2018 with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Susan Drake for 47 years. Loving father of Honey Alzner and special son-in-law Mark, Robert Tyson, Barbara Machina (Jake), the late Martin (1993), Tom (Minna), John (Laura) and Charles. Cherished Peepa of Paul O’Brien (Jessica), Brendan O’Brien, Miranda, Zoe, Adelaide, Alec, Tommy, Jared, Taden, Cameron, Jenna and great grandpa of Al and Ceasar. Dr. Drake started in the medical field as a family doctor which lead him to multiple positions in Emergency Medicine. In 1980, he and his family settled in Windsor-Essex County where he continued his Emergency career and shortly after moved into Psychotherapy which he thoroughly enjoyed. In 1983, he began his most honourable service as a Coroner of Windsor-Essex County. Dr. Drake was dedicated and devoted to providing decedents and their families the dignified service and respect they deserved. For this he was admired so dearly by all. It is with great pride, as of October 16, 2018 Dr. R.M. Drake has officially retired and he is now enjoying tending to the gardens in his next life. At Dr. Drake’s request a private family service and cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave., 519-253-7234 on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dr. Drake’s name to the IRIS Residential Inns and Services. It’s with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dave, at 54 yrs of age, surrounded by his loving family, on Oct.7, 2018. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Samantha, the “light of his life”, his stepsons Jordan and Trevor Labonte as well as their mother Cathy Glasmann. Predeceased by his parents Ed and Alda Glasmann and his brother Mario. Survived by his siblings Louda, Rita, Lena, Rick and Ivana Diana. A special thank you to Dave’s sister Diane for all her loving care this past year. Dave was a die hard Toronto Maple Leaf fan and he loved spending time outdoors with Sam and their loyal dogs Roxy and Romy. A private viewing has already taken place. Loving & devoted mother to Lo-Anne Hancrar (Dennis), Jo-Anne Santing (David) and Shelley Bonvarlez (Brent). Loving mother-in-law to Jody Faubert. Predeceased by her two sons Neil Martin Faubert (Nov. 16, 1953), Gary Michael Faubert (Oct. 2, 2005) and granddaughter April Jo-Anne (April 26, 1986). Loving Granny to Meghan, Vanessa, Chelsea (Aaron), Cole, Laura and Shauna. Daughter of the late Margaret and George Martin. Dear sister to Frank, Anne, Glenys, Edna and the late Bill, George, Kae and Tydfil. Special Auntie Connie to many nieces and nephews. Connie and Bill owned and operated Bill’s Confectionary and Bill’s Sport Shop for over 30 years in the Riverside area. In her retired years she enjoyed socializing with the Red Hats, Clogging, Square Dancing, playing Bridge and many years of traveling with Bill, family and friends. Passed away in peace with his family by his side.
Jim was loving husband to Jackie Riley and Margaret Lott. Wonderful father to Marlo Lott (Mark Tiefenbach), and Shanin Lott (Will Hutchins). Proud “Papa” of Madison, Cameron, Simon, Myles, Stella and Annabel, with whom he cherished every moment. Dear son of the late Sylvia Lott. Dear brother of Gloria (Lanny), Darlene (Ken), Larry (Sandy) and predeceased by sisters Cathy and Linda. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim began his career as a bank manager at CIBC. He later moved on to the hospitality industry, operating many successful businesses in the community, including the Lions’s Head, Hadley’s and the River City Cafe (Menards) and for the last 23 years at the Gladstone Grill. Jim was well known and loved by many for his quick wit, warmth and unconditional generosity. Over the years, he touched many lives and will be deeply missed but never forgotten. It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Santina, our loving Mother, Nonna and Bis-Nonna, on October 24, 2018 at the Village of Aspen Lake, at the age of 88. Reunited with her beloved husband Antonio (2009). Loving mother to John and wife Sharon Del Bianco, Marisa and husband Larry Dean. Cherished Nonna to Derek Dean (Andrea), Jenelle Caron (Jordan), Vanessa Del Bianco, and Michael Del Bianco. Bis-Nonna to Sullivan, Theodore and Aleksander. Dear sister to Tarsilla Nascimben and late husband Tony, Onorina Del Col and late husband Mario, Delfina Mascarin and husband Rino. Predeceased by brothers Quartino Lus and surviving wife Bruna, and Remo Lus and surviving wife Luciana. Dear sister in-law to the late Regina and husband Ertilio Rubli, late Fr. Italo Del Bianco, and survived by Luciano Del Bianco and wife Augustina. Santina will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
