It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of our dear Luc on December 10, 2017 at the age of 76. The strong and loving husband for 48 years to Rosine. Loving father to Nabil (Tracey), Farrid (Karen), caring Pépé to Sohpie, Emilie, Jesse, Justine and Jordyn. Brother of Marc (Lorraine) Mailloux, Vivianne (Richard) Fox, Claudette (Maurice) Mailloux, Guy (the late Linda) Mailloux and Martin (Sandy) Mailloux. A man who dedicated his life to working hard to improve the lives of those around him, be they family, friends, clients, or neighbours. His thirst for knowledge, understanding and his generous donation of time and know-how to his family, friends, and his community left this world a better place for us all. Born in Windsor Ontario, May 28 1941, June died peacefully at Seasons Lakeshore, surrounded by loved ones on December 8, 2017. She was predeceased by her son, John Timothy (JT) Hurley, her siblings Jeanne (Noel) Nosotti, Virginia (Noel) Chevalier, John Noel and nephew Jimmy Nosotti. June leaves behind to mourn, her sister Judith (Noel) Goulin, brothers-in-law Dennis Goulin and Gerry Nosotti, many beloved nieces and nephews and their spouses and families: David Nosotti, Ann Marie (Nosotti) Brauchler, Mary Beth (Nosotti) Madziar, Roland, Nicole, Michelle, Larry, Joe Chevalier; Anna Chevalier, Annette (Goulin) Crisson, John Goulin, Matt Goulin. June had a strong sense of family. She especially enjoyed the company of her nieces and nephews. She had a host of loyal friends, especially Stacey St. Amand, Maggie Ladouceur and Dolores Blonde, who were extremely supportive during her illness. June’s family and friends will remember her as a caring, kind and generous person. During her long career as a social worker, she enriched the lives of many people. Gifted with a wonderful sense of humour, June loved to make people laugh. Reading was a life-long passion. She had an extensive knowledge of world politics and enjoyed a good discussion. June was an avid birder for many years and a dedicated Scrabble player. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. Passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 48 years to John Michael. Cherished mother to Ian and wife Kristie and Tamara and husband Mike Desjardins. Adored Grammy of Emma, Declan, and Kieran. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Carmen (nee: Donatien) de Souza and brothers Tony and Nicky. Much loved sister to Patsy and Cedric. Will be missed by her furry companion Whiskey. Gail was born in Trinidad & Tobago, and immigrated to Canada in 1971 with John and Ian. She and daughter Tamara were the proud owners of Hibiscus House Salon in Tecumseh, Ontario, with Gail being a hairdresser for over 35 years. At home, Gail loved to spend the summers tending to her beautiful gardens. She was also a member of the CWL at the Lady of the Atonement Church. A special thank you to David Shaw from St. Elizabeth’s for his care and compassion throughout Gail’s journey. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Loving wife to Rick for 39 wonderful years. Cherished mother to Susie Barr (Craig), Cheri Jo Lowe (David) and Ranee Verville (Tim). Proud nanna to Brittany, Tyler, Delmarr, Harley, Joey, Devon, Clayton, Levi, Bryce and Kyra. Great-grandma to Cohen, Marie, Kyndra, Rowen and Charlee. Sister to Ann. Predeceased by her mother Virginia (nee Dumas), her aunt June and her grandson Jake.

Linda’s life revolved around her grandchildren and loved throwing them birthday bashes at Agawa Bay. She had a passion for canoeing and camping and belonged to the WECCC and the GLP. Many thanks go out to the Meadows and Hillman Marsh front line staff at Heron Terrace for their compassion with Linda’s care.

Has gone to be reunited with her beloved husband Tony (1987) on December 1, 2017 at the age of 97. Remembered always by her cherished nieces and nephews, especially Donna Brown who took such great care of her over the years. Stella was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1959. She was an avid gardener who loved to cook and enjoy her favorite Polish dishes. Being a member of the Polish Ladies Auxiliary was an important and enjoyable part of Stella’s life as well the many trips she made around the world. Our family would like to give a heartfelt thankyou to all the staff at the LaSalle Village of Aspen Lake for the exceptional care given to our dear Aunt. Beloved daughter to the late Lucy and Desiree Gemus. Loving mother to Michelle and Rick, Joseph, Rachelle and Denise. Proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister to the late Lionel, the late Lou, the late Jeanne, the late Gerald, Yvonne, Theresa, and Pauline. Rita was part of making rosaries for the poor for 35 years with Gail and Maria. Rita was a leader of the Catholic Charismatic Movement. She enjoyed planning trips to Medgerore, where Mother Mary appeared. She was part of Catholic Women’s League at Sacred Heart Church. Rita was truly a saint to many elderly in their time of need. It is with saddened hearts that we announce that our mother Milly has rejoined her beloved husband Clayt (2000) on November 29, 2017 at the age of 96. She will be forever remembered by her beloved children Dare (Mary Anne), Randy (Brenda), Charlotte (Doug) Waterman, Jennifer (Michael) O’Farrell and Craig (Anna). Cherished grandmother of Mackenzie, McKinley, Sullivan, Renee, Bradley, David, Maureen, Erin, Trevor, Rachel, Brittany, Elizabeth and her great grandchildren. Passed away peacefully on November 28, 2017 surrounded by family at the age of 87 years. Dear husband of Gerri (nee Gravel). Loving father of Martin and wife Claire, Bradley and wife Ursula and John. Dear grandfather of Matthew, Ryan, Bradley, and Brock. Dear brother of Peter Murphy and wife Betty, Michael Murphy and wife Anne, late Tom Murphy (late wife Elaine), and late Sheila (late Walter White). Dear brother-in-law to Joyce Muldoon (late Larry), and Dorothy Bach (late Con). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Patrick was a life time member of the Knights of Columbus (South Windsor). He served with Windsor Police Service for 8 years before working at and retiring from General Motors Trim Plant. Patrick was an avid sports fan and athlete. In his youth, he excelled at playing hockey and lacrosse. He also enjoyed the horse racing in his later years. ROSSI, Luisa (nee Moscone) Passed away peacefully by her husband’s side on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born in Casalvieri, Italy on September 10, 1929, she immigrated to Windsor from Naples in 1954. She was the beloved wife of Valentino Rossi for 65 years and cherished mother to Maria Recchia and son-in-law John Recchia. Sister to Rinaldo Moscone and the late Pia DiCarlo. Proud grandmother to Lisa & Rob Pelaccia and Tina & David Younan. She was dearly loved by her great-grandchildren Matteo & Marcus Younan and Luca Pelaccia. Predeceased by parents Virginia & Donato Moscone. Luisa looked forward to spending time with her family and spoiling them with Sunday dinners. Gene passed peacefully surrounded by his caring family on November 26, 2017 at the age of 78. Beloved husband to Eileen (nee Hunter) for 31 years. Dearest father to Rodd (Maureen), Todd (Martha), Cary (Diane), Mark, Tom and their mother Linda Iler. Loving step father to John Coulter, Jeffrey (Gina) Coulter and Kathleen (Paul) Sturkenboom. Cherished grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 7. Son of the late Eugene and Agnes Lucier and predeceased by his siblings Fred, Elizabeth (William), Crawford (MaryAnn), Agnes Anne (Joe) and sibling–in-laws Joseph Hunter, Thomas Hunter and Sr. Eileen Marie Hunter. Survived by his sister-in-laws Barbara, Patricia and Pat. Gene was retired from the Windsor Essex Catholic School Board with 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and spent many years coaching and umpiring Little League Baseball. He enjoyed playing hockey and cheering for the Detroit Tigers. His happiest times were spent with his family, regaling them with his many, many, many stories. He will be forever missed. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
