Dear father of Adam (Shelley) Swan, Richelle (Travis) Duncan, Brady Swan and Julia Swan and papa of Asher and Jack Swan, Hayden, Brogan, Reyna, Colby and Alexis Duncan. Dear son of Nancy (Doug) Coleman and the late Cap Swan. Born October 18, 1929 in Strathroy, Ontario to the late Edward Urquhart Collins (1958) and Alma Nevina (Neva) Lindsay Collins (1983). Sister of the late Bert Collins (2012) and his wife Freda of Sudbury and John (Jack) Collins and Isabel of Strathroy. Much loved mother of Diane Van Alstyne (Kevin Poole) and Lisa Van Alstyne, both of Glencoe. Predeceased by son Robert (Robbie) Van Alstyne (1969). Wife of the late Dr. William (Bill) Van Alstyne DDS (1975). Peacefully at home with family, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 Lissi Quistorf of Germany and recently Glencoe passed away in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Max (1996). Survived by her daughter Inge (Ernst) Hadler of Glencoe and son Ulrich Quistorf of Germany, granddaughter Tara Hadler. Her sister Marlies and brother Henning also survive her in Germany along with several nieces and nephews. Proud father of Brian (Mary Margaret) of Caledonia, Nancy VanLieshout (Henry) of Strathroy and Donna Scattolon (Paul) of Strathroy. Dear grandpa of Andrew, Rebecca, Danielle, Amie, Kristopher, Jonathan, Dominic and great grandpa of Asher, Harley, Owen and Graham. Survived by his siblings Violet Fiddler, Kenneth (Shirley) of Glencoe and Richard of London. Predeceased by his son Douglas (2012) and 13 brothers and 2 sisters as well as his parents Russell and Clara Haggith. Ray was a life long resident of Glencoe. He was a mill wright at Emco Ltd. in London for 31 years and self employed handyman throughout his life, well known to lend a helping hand to seniors and shut ins throughout the community. He was one of the founding members of the ELKS Lodge in Glencoe. Ray
was proud of his family, his community and a proud Canadian. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 1-2 pm where the funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27th at 2pm, with Pastor Jamie Greenwood officiating. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Karen (nee Loosemore) of 47 years, his sons Nathan (Deb), Jason, Devon (Kendra) and Quenton and his precious grandchildren Destin, Kiara and Keilan, brother Leonard (Marta), sisters Sharon (Dorlie) and Dianne (Bob), dear stepmother Betty and Aunt Penny. Harvey, KenPeacefully with family by his side at The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth on Tuesday July 19th 2016, Kenneth Paul Harvey of Marmora passed away in his 72nd year. Predeceased by his mother Aurilia “Goldie” Harvey (nee Piros). Loved and survived by wife Deanne. Loved by his children Jason (Erica Wodka), and Amber (Kyle Bateman). Also survived by his brother Don (Marg). He will be dearly missed and forever in our thoughts.
