SOVA, Mary JeanPassed with peace and grace on Sunday, April 5, 2015 with her family at her side to join her loving husband Donald, precious infant son Edward Grant, son-in-law Norman, parents James and Lillian Wilkins, James and Louisa Sova, and sisters Eloise, Queenie and Annabelle in heaven. She is survived by her children Frank (Denise) of Brampton, Fred (Lilian) of Ottawa, Emerson (Mary) of Maidstone, Bonnie (Tom) of Comber and her sister Muriel (Doug) of Kitchener. She delighted in her grandchildren Donald (Christine) Tetzlaff, Christine (Richard) Sova, Richard Sova, Fred (Patricia) Sova, Sharon (Andrew) Marshall, David (Joanne) Sova, Daniel (Debbie) Sova, Randy (Yvette) Tetzlaff, Paul (Jennifer) Sova, Marc Sova and Jamie (Marcella) Tetzlaff and her great grandchildren Kyle Tetzlaff, Marick (Digger) Juillet, Alicia Sova, Robin Marshall, David Marshall, Monica Sova, Nicholas Lajoie, Nicholas Marshall, Katie Sova, Hailey Sova, Amy Sova, Lauren Sova, Daniella Durham, Kerina Sova, Bryna Tetzlaff, Keirsten Sova, Morgan Tetzlaff, Nicholas Durham, Jordan Tetzlaff, Jack Marshall and Alexis Tetzlaff. Each one has special memories of time with Grandma. She was Godmother to Judy MacDonald and David Gravit and so many others knew her as friend, neighbour, Aunt Mary Jean or “Grandma”. Mary Jean considered them all family. Mary Jean was born in Chicago 98 years ago, in 1917, and grew up in several Ontario communities where her father served as minister. Settling in Comber, she married Don and filled her life with raising their children and grandchildren, serving the church and community, and spent many of her days driving seniors to appointments or shopping and delivering meals to them. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, whose greatest passion was helping others. Mary Jean was a lifelong member of the Comber Good Luck Rebekah Lodge #297. Visitation at Paul Reaume Funeral Home, 5657 Comber Side Road, Comber, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at McDowell Cemetery, Comber. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, March 20, 2015. At 92 years young, Gene was a devoted husband of 67 loving years to Estelle (Lefaive). Beloved father of the late Bob (Ruth) Labonté, the late Ruth Anne (Ross) Fox, the late Joanne (the late Jack) Soutar, Jean-Paul (Giah) Labonté and Janet (John) Szedlak.   Dearest pépé to 11 cherished grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Survived by brothers Chuck and wife Agnes Labonté, and Philip and wife Yvonne Labonté. Gene proudly served in World War II and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Knights of Columbus, and was a RC usher for many years.   Known best by the community as the owner of Gene’s Auto Services for 35 years and later owned a school bus service before retiring.  He was an avid traveller with his wife, always loved it best when gathering with friends and family and was someone people looked up to with his unwavering optimism in life. 40 years of age, a resident of Noelville, Ontario. Poke passed away suddenly as the result of a snowmobile accident on March 13, 2015. He is survived by his wife Susan, his precious daughter Aviana Leigh and his faithful companion Mac. Eldest son of Jerry and Paula (Recker) of Chatham. Grandson to the late Herman and Mary  Pockele and the late Paul and Mildred Recker. Only brother to Scott and Angela Pockele and “super” uncle to Ethan and Catherine of Tilbury. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and his Suncor co-workers. There will be a celebration of Jeff’s life in Tilbury at a later date. CASE, Marion, square86 years, passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, February 1, 2015.  Beloved wife of the late Paul Case (2007).  Loving mother of Susan Ford (Terence 2014), Catherine Gordon-Kay (Robert), and Grace Marchand (Raymond).  Dearest grandmother of Jennifer Gursoy (Ahmet), Stephanie Hatherill (Shawn), Tristan Ford (Amanda), Katie Mayhew, Nathan Marchand, and great grandchildren Sydney and Jayden Gursoy, Mackenzie, Zoey and Zander Mayhew, Devon Caza, Alana Hatherill, Cooper Ford, and an expected great grandson in May.  Predeceased by parents Grace (Milner) Dale (1940) and Charles A. Dale (2003).  Dear sister of Betty Showers (Eugene 2001), and Robert A. Dale (Elaine 2004).  Daughter-in-law of the late Everett Case (1982) and Iva (Hornick) Case (1972).  Sister-in-law of Marion E. Case (1980).  Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.  Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.  Ven. 83 years, passed away at C.K.H.A., Chatham on January 19, 2015. Beloved husband of Catherine (Henderson). Loving father of Margie, Beth, Patti, Brian, Chrissy, Kevin and their spouses. Dearest grandfather of 9 grandchildren. Gene was the last surviving of Nelson and Josephine’s (Letourneau) seven children. He is survived by sisters-in-law Pearl Pare and Joan Pare and many nieces and nephews. Gene recently retired after owning and operating Perry Graphics in Tilbury for 35 years. Gene was a life member of Chatham Aeronauts Club, June Chapter #130 O.E.S. and the Naphtali Masonic Lodge #413 A.F. & A.M. Cremation.
