NAEL, DwayneIt is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Dwayne Nael at the age of 46. He leaves behind the love of his life Marlene Turcotte and their five children, Jordan and Mitchell, Alley, Mitchell and Jamie. Cherished son of Barb and the late Raymond Nael, grandson of Gladys Nael. Sadly missed by sister Kellie (Todd) Gallerno and their children, Britney, Tayler and Levi, brother Darryl (Sheri) Nael and their children Zaiden, Bianca and Zoey, brother Tod Kane and sister Stacey Suitor. He will forever be missed by countless friends and neighbours. Dwayne had a golden heart and displayed it in his many contributions to the community. His fondness for children made him a great asset and coach to his various associations with hockey and other sports. As the proud owner of Nael Automotive his extraordinary skills were known by many. An avid boater, he could be found on Lake St. Clair relaxing with family and friends, during those rare moments he could find for leisure. LANGDON, WilliamWilliam (Bill) Langdon, also known as “Papa”, peacefully passed on Wednesday March 19, 2014 in his 61st year after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a beloved husband and soul mate to Jo; son to Roy and Florence; Brother to Jim, Joanne, David and Paul;  uncle;  father to Tim, Lucas, Melanie and Jacob; and Papa to Jessica, Sarah, Sara Jane, Thressa, Ryan, Hailey, Lilyanna, Andrew, Amira, Elizabeth, Vyolet and Tristan.

When diagnosed with Cancer, he embraced the journey ahead with a fighting spirit and an unwavering sense of hope. This included his embracing the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, which would not only support him but also help to advance cancer research.

Bill chose to focus each day and its challenges as they came and remained optimistic and brave. Throughout the journey and the various appointments, Bill never complained and kept his cleaver wit and humour which would bring out smiles and laughter despite the worst of circumstances.  Bill was an inspiration to his family, friends and the many people he met along the way during his treatments.

Bill had a fierce and unconditional love for his family. His most treasured role was that of “Papa” that he shared with Jo. Papa was adored by all of his grandchildren who knew that when they were in his company a fun time was to be had. He was also a fantastic source for candy, special treats and a hearty chuckle.

Outside of family, Bill was a passionate movie aficionado, candy connoisseur and avid poker player. He truly felt at home in Las Vegas; knew where to find all the best treats; and how to throw a party. Over the years there have been so many wonderful events held where Bill went out of his way to entertain the grandchildren in particular, like the “pirate”; chalet and hotel Christmases. He ensured that everyone was made to feel special and that moments were spent making memories that would be treasured and held in our hearts.

Bill wished that we remember him with a smile and shed tears of happiness. He will be remembered for his fun loving spirit, zest for life and love for his children and grandchildren. We will honour his memory with an intimate and private celebration of his life. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Doreen had an unwavering faith in her saviour, Jesus Christ and was a long time member of Antioch Christian Ministries.  Beloved wife for 70 years of Andrew Mailloux.  Loving mother of Robert (Debbie Desjardins), Peter (2009), Francis, Michelle Nettleton (Peter), Terry (Suzanne Schiemann), D’Arcy, and Lori (Frank Pompa). 78 years, died at home on January 31st, 2014 surrounded by her husband and children.  Katie was the matriarch of a large family of 6 children and 14 grandchildren.  Born in Detroit in 1935 to Irish-Canadian parents, she moved to Tilbury with her husband John C. Taylor in 1960 and quickly made herself indispensable to the community.  She loved little babies, jigs and reels, family get-togethers and a good homily at Sunday Mass.  Katie was a co-founder of the Tilbury Family Health Team, which brought primary care to thousands of people.  She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League, a director of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent, a registered nurse who helped launch the personal support worker program at St. Clair College, and a recovering alcoholic for over 30 years who helped many people attain sobriety.  Sadly missed by her husband John, her sister Arlene Hussey, children Denise and Greg Bolohan, Maureen Taylor and the late Dr. Donald Low (2013), Joe and Roxanne Taylor, Colleen and Jeff Bond, Julie and Jim Renaud, and Jennifer and Jon David Kehoe.  Predeceased by her sister Karen (2009). (Paul) Thibert (2007). Loving mother of Diane Delarge (late husband Alex-2000), the late Robert Thibert (2009) (Annette), and the late Karen Conan (2012) (Steve). MINEAU, Gerard, ovalBorn Feb. 10, 1954, passed away on Jan. 4, 2014 at Windsor Hospice, with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer.  Son of Henry (2002) and Bernice (née Lefaive) (1989).  Husband of Lisa (Pealey).  Papa to Cindy and Paul.  Beloved brother of Linda Strong (Tom), Gerald (deceased 1960), Louise (Garth) Scoggins, Donald, Ronald (Geri-Lynn).  Son-in-law  of Jimmy (Georgette 2007) Pealey.  Brother-in-law of Line (Mario), Nadine (Rosaire), Henri (Marie Josée), Joel (Mylène), Josélito (Nadia), Pascal (Pamela), et neveux nièces, all from Iles de la Madeleine. Uncle Coco will be sadly missed by his nieces & nephews: Eric, Sam, Mitchel, Vanessa, Stephanie, Sara, & little great nephew Troy.  Dearly missed by many friends & cousins.
