Passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on November 13, 2012 at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Shirley (Ryall). Cherished father of Debra and Bob Watts (Pittsburgh, PA), Brenda and Mark Kvale (San Francisco, CA) and David and Carol Nussey (Comber). Loving grandfather of Heather (Wes) and Lindsay Watts, Ryan (Nikki), Craig, Aaron and Brandon Nussey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert was born, lived and farmed all of his 91 years at his home outside of Comber. He was an extremely kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed, especially by his friends who gather at the Comber Legion on Friday evenings. With her mother and sisters at her side, Laurie passed away peacefully, at the young age of 50, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Thursday October 18, 2012.  Laurie fought her battle with cancer with great strength and a determined will.  She will be sorrowfully missed by her two sons, Westley Carrick and Kyle Goodreau.  Laurie is survived by her mother Margaret and the late Lawrence (1975) Goodreau.  Sister to Joe (Patsy) Drummond, late Gene (2007) (surviving wife Susan) Goodreau, Joanne Rivard, Cathy (John) Postma, Larry (Corrie) Goodreau, Donna (late Paul (1996)) Lefaive) & Jay St. Pierre, Ralph (Cindy) Goodreau, Brenda (Jake) Timmermans, Debbie (Rick) Postma.  Also remembered by many, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.  A private immediate family service will be held following cremation.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tilbury Information and Help Centre – Food Bank or the Gene Goodreau Patient Assistance Fund.  Arrangements entrusted to Reaume Funeral Home Tilbury.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com

83 years, of Tilbury, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, September 17, 2012.  Beloved husband and best friend of Pauline (Donais) for 63 years.  Cherished father of David and Elaine Blain, Diane and Jim Peltier, Judy and Ken Blain, Donald and Aline (2012) Blain, Annette and Roger Desimpel.  Loving pépé to 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by parents Alphonse Blain (1974) and Melina (née Brouillette) (1988).  Loving brother of  Sophie Marentette, Alphonse Blain, Lorraine(Don) Bulley, and the late Dona (1961), Raoul (2004), Clarence (2008), and Eugene (1999).  Brother-in-law of Agnes, Rita, and Madeline Blain.  Rene was the owner and founder of Rene Blain Trucking since 1947.  In recent years he became an avid gardener who took pride in sharing with his family and friends the fruits of his labour.  He was a life member of Msgr. A.J. Step-mother of Ted (Linda) Diesbourg, Emily (Roland) Bellemore, Lorette (Stuart) Kirkland, Carol (Brad) Primeau, and Mark (Kathy) Diesbourg.
