Danced her way through Heaven’s gates at the age of 90 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Thursday, February 27th, 2014. Doreen had an unwavering faith in her saviour, Jesus Christ and was a long time member of Antioch Christian Ministries.  Beloved wife for 70 years of Andrew Mailloux.  Loving mother of Robert (Debbie Desjardins), Peter (2009), Francis, Michelle Nettleton (Peter), Terry (Suzanne Schiemann), D’Arcy, and Lori (Frank Pompa). Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Survived by sisters Ida Charron and Cecile Dutka-Gazo, in-laws Isabelle and Alma Quenneville, Paul Gagnon, Edmond, Raymond and Magella Mailloux.  Pre-deceased by 16 more siblings. Doreen will be dearly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Staff at Extendicare Tecumseh lovingly cared for her the last 5 years of her life. The family gives them their deepest gratitude. LABELLE, Liam, star16 years of Windsor, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014.  Beloved son of Fawn Meeking and Larry Labelle.  Will always be loved and remembered by siblings Jacob and Malikai, Andrew and Destiny. Cherished grandson of Liam and Debbie Thomas and Jackie Barron. Great grandson of Janet Sears and Ginny Thomas. Liam, who was welcomed into Heaven and received into the loving arms of God the Father, was reunited with Pépé Richard Sears, Grandpa Neil Thomas, and Grandpa Eddie Barron. TAYLOR, Catherine Ann “Katie” (nee Donegan)

78 years, died at home on January 31st, 2014 surrounded by her husband and children.  Katie was the matriarch of a large family of 6 children and 14 grandchildren.  Born in Detroit in 1935 to Irish-Canadian parents, she moved to Tilbury with her husband John C. Taylor in 1960 and quickly made herself indispensable to the community.  She loved little babies, jigs and reels, family get-togethers and a good homily at Sunday Mass.  Katie was a co-founder of the Tilbury Family Health Team, which brought primary care to thousands of people.  She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League, a director of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent, a registered nurse who helped launch the personal support worker program at St. Clair College, and a recovering alcoholic for over 30 years who helped many people attain sobriety.  Sadly missed by her husband John, her sister Arlene Hussey, children Denise and Greg Bolohan, Maureen Taylor and the late Dr. Donald Low (2013), Joe and Roxanne Taylor, Colleen and Jeff Bond, Julie and Jim Renaud, and Jennifer and Jon David Kehoe.  Predeceased by her sister Karen (2009). MINEAU, Gerard, ovalBorn Feb. 10, 1954, passed away on Jan. 4, 2014 at Windsor Hospice, with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer.  Son of Henry (2002) and Bernice (née Lefaive) (1989).  Husband of Lisa (Pealey).  Papa to Cindy and Paul.  Beloved brother of Linda Strong (Tom), Gerald (deceased 1960), Louise (Garth) Scoggins, Donald, Ronald (Geri-Lynn).  Son-in-law  of Jimmy (Georgette 2007) Pealey.  Brother-in-law of Line (Mario), Nadine (Rosaire), Henri (Marie Josée), Joel (Mylène), Josélito (Nadia), Pascal (Pamela), et neveux nièces, all from Iles de la Madeleine. QUENNEVILLE, Pat, square63 years, of Comber, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 5, 2013.  Beloved husband of Jacquie (Hart).  Loving father of Lisa (Mike) Greczylo, Paul Quenneville, Rachelle (Dustin) Hewson.  Cherished grandfather of Madison Quenneville, Caleb and Ella Greczylo.  Dearest son of Alma Quenneville and late husband Alfred.  Dear brother of Ray (Debbie) Quenneville, Marguerite Quenneville, Jerome (Rhonda) Quenneville, and Harvey Quenneville (Paul McPherson).  Dear son-in-law of Cecilia Hart and late husband William.  Dear brother-in-law of Larry (Judy) Hart, Pat (Pete) DeBeyer, Geraldine (David) Reid, Tom (Sandy) Hart.  Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.  Pat was a valued employee of H.J. Heinz for over 40 years.  He was involved with the Notre Dames de Lourdes Cemetery, was on the board of directors for Desjardins, and assisted yearly with the Mennonite meat cannery. He loved hunting and snowmobiling and was heavily involved in his Church and community.  Visitation at Paul Reaume Funeral Home, Comber from 6-9 p.m. Monday and from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
