It is with profound sadness the family of Barbara Doris Glasier (nee Thomas) announces that she has passed away peacefully.  Predeceased by her parents Gwendoline (Evans) and William (Bub) Thomas, sister Peggy (Hughie) Hemphill, and survived by her loving brother Trevor Thomas and his wife Carol.  Loving mother to Brian (Carol Sauve), Barry (Laurie), Kevin (Karen), Brenda (Joe Renaud), Keith (Laurie Morand), and Kathy (Ron Malolepszy).  Loving Grandma “Gma” to Nikki (Seb Gougeon), Adam Glasier (Kristina), Marcia Hornick (Claude), Jason Glasier (Tina), Brandon Glasier (Jessica), Andrew Glasier, Kory Glasier (April Lee), Kim Pfaff (Jeff), Allan Glasier (Sara Wiggins), Colleen Webb (Andrew Thompson), Katy Webb (Jordan Ryan), Holly Demers (Mike), Jay Renaud (Amanda), Brett Glasier, Brady Glasier, Angela Malolepszy, and Patrick Malolepszy.  Loving GG to Addisyn Glasier, Hudson Gougeon, Darian and Devon Marentette, Jaxsen and Hayden Fletcher, Canyen Glasier, Sophia Glasier, Leah Glasier, Maria, Macy and Drew Pfaff, Mercedes, Maddox and Story Renaud, and Dakota Demers.  Best friend to Diane Brooks.  Mom worked for Tilbury Big V for many years and considered the staff there as extended family.  Our Mother was an amazing woman who loved in a way that we all hope to be able to emulate.  As her granddaughter beautifully wrote, ?She is a woman who proved that family has nothing to do with DNA?.  She loved all unconditionally.  She loved her family and considered her greatest accomplishment raising a large, loving family that is always there for each other through good times and bad.  We would like to thank Chez Nous Lodge for their loving care and for making Barb feel like she was at home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.  A celebration of Barb?s life will be held at the Tilbury Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday, December 6, 2014, with a service starting at 11:00 a.m.

“Joe” to some, “Woody” to others, “Howard” to many, “Dad” to a few, died peacefully on September 9th, 2014 in his 88th year.  Devoted husband of the late Harriet (Vandenbosch) Herman.  Loving father of Les (Colleen) Herman of Chatham, Laura (Carl) Delmore of Stoney Point, and Jack (Kathy) Herman of Tecumseh.  Cherished grandpa to Meghan and Scott Herman and Lauren Sherbourne, Jeffrey and Jonathan Delmore, Marie and Madison Herman.  Born in Courtland ON to the late George and Evelyn (Greenland) Herman, Howard is survived by a brother David of Aylmer and sisters Wilma Young and Gertie Fewster of Tillsonburg.  Predeceased by sisters Bernice and Mildred , brothers Victor, Lee, Bob and Phillip.  Howard, a long time resident of Tilbury was a passionate golfer and sportsman and managed the Beaver Lumber store there for over 35 years.  Cremation has taken place.  Friends may visit at the Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W.
