LARKIN: GERALD FRANCIS of Kingston and formerly of Russell, On

Larkin:  Gerald Francis

Passed away peacefully on August 29, 2012 at the Kingston General Hospital in his 74th year due to cancer.  Born in Russell, On., Gerald was the beloved son of the late Bernard & Mae(Cousineau) Larkin and brother of the late Patrick Ewen & Michael Larkin.  He is survived by his sisters Florence O’Ray(Ken) of Kingston and Winnifred Koen of Lyn, On.  He is also survived by sisters-in-law Edith Larkin of Westbrook & Joan Larkin of Enterprise and many nieces and nephews.  At the request of the family there will be no public visitation.  Family and caregivers will gather on Saturday, Sept 8, 2012 from 10-11am in the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, Main St., Odessa 613-386-7373 after which Liturgy of the Word will take place with Deacon Mike Winn officiating.  Interment to follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Railton.  Special thanks to Gerald’s wonderful caregivers at the Ongwanada McKeown Group Home.  Thanks also to staff of Davies 5 at Kingston General Hospital.  For those desiring memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Universities Hospital Kingston Foundation (U.H.K.F.) in Gerald’s memory.
