Died peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family in her 74th year. Aileen of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Harvey Sheldon for 49 years. Loving mother of Bill and his wife Victoria. Grandmother of Danielle ( J.R. Rivera) and Mitchell Machin and great grandmother of Amaya and Avery. Aileen will also be missed by her caregivers, neighbours and friends. Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Glenn Kawai), Jennifer West and Jeremy Burton and to great grandchildren Ted and Cecilia Kawai. Loving father of Scott (Joanne Legin) and Sheryl (Tony Fanta). Cherished grandpa of Blair, Aaron and Nigel. Fred is survived by his brothers Rick, Tom and Bill, sisters-in-law Tressa, Rose, Sharon and Elizabeth Floyd, his aunt Betty Humphrey and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents George and Annie, brothers George and Bob, sister-in-law Judy and his uncle Wes. Fred was a wonderful man. He held a deep love for his family and for his community. He gave of himself through sports as a player and a coach with baseball, hockey, lacrosse and golf. He was a scouting leader for many years and enjoyed taking family and friends camping. Fred was a member of Wasaga Beach Probus and he and Gwen were deeply devoted to their church, Wasaga Beach United Church. He will be dearly missed. Loving mother of Bärbel Strodthoff and the late Sylvia Loebel. Cherished Omi of Andy Strodthoff (Christy), Rosie (Rob Collins) and Nick Schreiner and Great Omi of Alexandra, Grace, Savannah, Katie and Sarah. Ursula is predeceased by her sisters Ruth Kätner and Herta Dirsuweit and her parents Oscar and Helene Dirsuweit. She was a 30 year employee of General Motors, working at the Golden Mile plant. Ursula was a kind and generous woman who made friends easily. She enjoyed travel, bingo, visits to the casino, the latest fashions and shopping for them and had a sweet tooth especially for ice cream. She spent many years cottaging on Rice Lake which created many cherished family memories. Ursula deeply cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. He will be forever loved by his wife Silvina Rosa and his children Frank Jr. (Marie) and Maria. Vavo will be missed by his grandchildren Chantal (Chris), Brandon (Jessica), Tiffany (Michael), Krysta (Eric), Michael, and Siera. He was a proud “Big Vavo” to his great-grandchildren Mya, Taylor, and Michael, who loved him dearly. It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She is gone to her heavenly home to be with her saviour Jesus Christ.  Henny died on Friday June 23, 2017 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 77.  Henny of New Lowell, beloved wife for over 57 years of Bert Schaly.  Loving mother of Wally (Deanna), Frank (Sigrid), Albert (Bonita) and Cynthia Retford.  Cherished grandmother of Nathan (Jen), Nicholas (Alanna), Sarah, Lisa, Sabrina, Alissa, Michaela, Kyle, Cody and Nick. Loving mother of Kenneth (Lucy), Jeff (Susan) and the late Susan Fraser. Died peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 82.  Ken of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Diane Ross.  Loving father of the late Andrew Ross and step-father of Patricia Bigattini (Clive Mathias) and Brett Donald (Kirsti).  Loving and adoring grandfather of Brodi, Elijah, Adrian, Reno and Ashden.  Dear son-in-law of Dylis Martin.  Predeceased by his sisters Rita Rowlands, Carol Ross and Lorraine Vass.  Ken was a charismatic man with a dry, witty sense of humour.  He led a life of adventure with his service in the Merchant Navy, pub ownership and his Bed and Breakfast in his native Wales and his many years working on the cruise lines.  He was a skilled photographer, avid reader and he was passionate for gardening, golf and especially his family.  Family moments and particularly winters in Florida were his favourite times.  He will be deeply missed.  A private family funeral service was held.  If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity most meaningful to you would be appreciated by Ken’s family.  Arrangements entrusted to Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Chapel.
