Passed away at home in Barrie on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in his 49th year. Beloved son of Willard and Marie Henry. Dear brother of Alan (Coreen) and Ronald. Loving grandson of Ethel Boyce. He will also be missed by nieces Brittany, Amber and Stephanie. Special thanks go out to all aunts, uncles and cousins who supported him in time of need. At the young age of 63, following complications from surgery, Bob died suddenly but peacefully on Friday April 14, 2017, surrounded by family at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood.  Bob was born in Hamilton and retired from Stelco after 33 years.  Bob and his soulmate of 34 years, Lynda (nee Harrison) then retired to Wasaga Beach.  Loving stepfather to Randy and to grandchildren Randi-Lyn and Nicolas. GROVES, Thomas Harvey     August 1, 1951 – April 7, 2017.
After a long illness it is with heavy hearts that the Groves family announces the peaceful passing of Tom at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington in his 66th year. Tom is predeceased by his parents Thomas Groves and May Groves, his stepmother Blanche Groves, and his siblings Dale Groves and Linda Newman.  Tom is survived by his siblings Wendy De La Franier and Debbie (Butch) Blagojevic.  As well, Tom is survived by his children Lawrence, Tammy (Robert), Teresa from his late wife Madeleine, his children Robert and Ashley from his wife Jane, and his children Brandon and Shannon from his wife Laura. He is also survived by grandchildren Auston, Brandon, Christopher, Corrina, Deanna, Emily, Megan, Mikayla, Owen and Sarah. As well as, Great-Grandchildren Alainah, Jason, Kinsley and Liam.  Tom leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the professional care team at Joseph Brant Hospital, Hamilton General Hospital and Wesley Special Care Unit. Tom had a varied work life but most notably he was a Toronto Transit Commission Operator for streetcars and later buses and performed his duties for the TTC out of Russell, Roncesvalles and Malvern Divisions. Tom had been a resident of Wasaga Beach for a period of his life and it was his wish, which is being honoured by the family, to return and to be buried close to his brother in the Wasaga Beach Cemetery. Died peacefully on Saturday April 8, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 88.  Agnes was a loving and devoted mother of Diane Brookings, Pudgie Levesque (Claude), the late John Brookings, Eric Brookings (Brenda), Dennis Brookings (late Paulette), Tracey Greves(Kevin), Liz May (Joe Guido), Tana Brookings and Jane Fufari (Rocky).  Agnes will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Survived by her sisters Mary and Veronica and predeceased by sisters Chris, Betty, Ann and Theresa.  She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Agnes was a loving and nurturing mother of deep faith. Died peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 68.  Bill of New Lowell, beloved husband of Heidi.  Loving father of Kimberly and her husband John Patterson and Kristi and her partner Mike Grant.  Cherished grandfather of Nate and Ryland Patterson and Harper Grant.  Dear brother of John (Ann), Jim (Helen), Jane (Barry Corby) and Wendy (Lorne Rowbotham).  Predeceased by his parents Keith and Jean Elder.  Bill will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and fellow farmers.  Bill was a very hardworking, kind man who spent most of his working years on his land. A successful dairy farmer, you could always count on him to lend a hand or offer advice. But primarily, Bill’s priority was his family. He worked with the sole purpose to ensure that his girls would be taken care of. His love for his family was amplified with the addition of his pride and joy, his grandchildren. Spoiled, and loved to the fullest each and every day, they were the apple of his eye. “Papa” will truly be missed. Died suddenly on Wednesday March 1, 2017 upon his return from a “trip of a lifetime” at the age of 79.  Jim of Wasaga Beach, cherished son of the late Melinda & Jim Ward. Beloved husband and soulmate of Luella for 58 years.  Loving father of Cindy (Jim) and of the late Gregory.  Cherished grandfather of Heather (Mark) and Stuart with a great grandson on his way.  Brother of William Ward.  Jim will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family. Jim was an inspiring, intelligent and skilled man.  His artistic carvings and art have been enjoyed and appreciated by many.  He will be missed by his friends in the Collingwood Carving Club, the Wasaga Art Group and Wasaga, Under Siege. Died peacefully on Friday March 3, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood surrounded by her family at the age of 64.  Pat of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Aaron Heath.  Loving mother of Laura (Dave Loughead) and Lana Heath (Stuart Scott-Field).  Cherished Grandma of Julia, Connor, Jason, Emerald, Nathan, Treyden and Charlotte.  Much loved  daughter of Florence (Ron Loughead) and the late Cecil Earle.  Dear sister of Cheryl (Wayne Warner), Doug Earle (Debbie), Darrell Earle (Jackie), Tim Earle (Marilyn) and Mark Earle (Jen) and sister-in-law of Jocelyn (George Bounds).  Pat was a kind and loving woman who befriended so many.  She had a 28 year career with the Wasaga Beach Public Library, fuelling her passion as an avid writer and reader.  She enjoyed the Antique and Classic Car Club with Aaron and was passionate about her favorite teams, the Tiger Cats, the Patriots and especially her Blue Jays!! Died peacefully on Friday March 3, 2017 at his home with his loving wife at his side at the age of 84.  Lloyd of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Beverley for 62 years.  Loving father of Nancy (Richard West) and Stephen (Laura Carter).  Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Glenn Kawai), Jennifer West (Chris Grenier) and Jeremy Burton and to great grandchildren Ted and Cecilia Kawai.  Dear brother of Willa Byers, Gloria Bissell, Robert Burton (Elaine), the late Augustus Burton and the late Margaret Paddle.  Lloyd will also be missed by Christine Burton, his many nieces and nephews, his Probus colleagues, the guys at the coffee shop and his many friends and neighbours.  Lloyd was a kind and caring man who made friends easily with his wit and dry humour.  He had a penchant for standard bred horseracing, he was the Past president of the Men’s Probus and gave of his time and talents to many causes.  First and foremost he was dedicated to his family, especially Beverley.  He will be deeply missed.  Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Monday March 6, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 12 noon.  Reception to follow.  If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Lupus Ontario or the Canadian Celiac Association would be appreciated by Lloyd’s family.  To sign the Book of Memories, log on to www.carruthersdavidson.com

Cherished grandmother of Allison (Chris Kerns) and Paul Marcucci (Marilyn Frigault).  Dear sister of the late James Stuart (Sophie), Donald Stuart (Lois), the late William Stuart (Agnes), Henry Stuart (Wendy), David Stuart (Anne Marie), the late Ina (the late Jim Barton), Isabella Stuart, Ethel (Frank Ayres) and the late Dulcie Baker (Tom Baker).  Sarah will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, her friends and neighbours. Sarah was a kind and nurturing woman who had a wonderful sense of humour. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood in her 91st year.  Joan (nee Morris) of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Ken for almost 67 years. Loving mother of Larry and his wife Francine, Ross and his wife Maria and Jeffrey and his wife Della.  Dear grandmother of Andrea (Sebastian Houde), Erin, Matthew (Megan), Christine, Andrew and Ty and step-grandmother of Don Parent and Eric Fullum.  Dear great-grandmother of Eric, Max, Eva, Ben, Bode and Asher. Survived by her sister Julie (Bill Patten) and her brother Dave Morris (Pat Lelong).  Joan endured a tough wartime upbringing in England, then as a war bride she accompanied her Canadian war veteran husband to her new home across the ocean. She was always family orientated and independent to the end. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. for a come and go reception. Died suddenly on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in his 79th year.  Henry of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Brampton and Conception Bay South, beloved husband of Doreen (nee Diamond) for 50 years.  Loving father of Carol (Arne Backstrom) and Darlene Hart (Dwayne Wheeler).  Cherished Poppy of Jakob Backstrom and T.J.
