Died peacefully on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Pine Villa, Collingwood at the age of 80. Elmer of Collingwood, formerly of Wasaga Beach, loving husband of the late Helene Robinson. Elmer is survived by siblings Harvey, Norman, Gord, Allan, Wayne and Hazel Weatherall. He is predeceased by nine siblings and his parents Chalmer and Margaret Weatherall. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Friends are invited to join the family for a Graveside Service on Friday May 26, 2017 at the Stayner Union Cemetery at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. Passed away peacefully on Saturday May 13, 2017 after enduring the ravages of extreme osteoporosis for many years.  Nancy of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Toronto, loving wife of 34 years to Murray.  Best loving mother to Debra Clayton and Robyne Morton and stepmom to Rick Lawson.  Nana to Amber Jane, Krysta, Darci, Adam, Erin, Katelyn and predeceased by Pierce.  Great grandmother to three.  Nancy was a forty year member of the Toronto Real Estate Board and will be missed by may friends.  There will be no funeral.  Special thanks to C.C.A.C. and St. Elizabeth Nursing and the PSW’s.  If desired, donations to Osteoporosis Canada would be appreciated by Nancy’s family. Died peacefully on Saturday May 13, 2017 surrounded by her family at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 35.  Lindsay of Collingwood, loving daughter of Christine (Kent Constable) and James (Debbie) Eberhardt and of step-father Steve Miller.  Much loved fiancé of Remo Romolo.  Cherished sister of Jaclyn Miller, Steven Miller (Felicia Currie), Natasha Ballance, Kyle Miller (Katie Collver) and the late Jesse Ballance.  Dear aunt of Jaylin, Justin, Lucas, Isaias, Gabrielle, Ryker and Grayson.  Loving granddaughter of Ruby and the late Jim Eberhardt and Carolene Black and the late Ralph Richardson.  Lindsay was a free spirit whose strong will and fighting spirit allowed her to endure two liver transplants during her short but full life.  Her independence and love for her family and her friends will live on.  Lindsay was truly one of a kind! Died suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his residence in Toronto, Ontario in his 81st year.  Known to many as Uncle John, he will be dearly missed by so many including his life- long partner,  Mavis Rowe. His step-daughter, Kelly Karpowicz Bray and her husband Garth Bray. His step-grandchildren, Christopher (Tina), Stefan and the late Joey Karpowicz (Domonique) and Maya Karpowicz. He will also be missed by his United Kingdom family: Joan & Mike McCombe, Peter McCabe, Michael & Rachel McCabe, Peter & Venessa McCabe & family, Christopher & Helen Price & family, Stephen & Lynn McCombe & family, Paula, Archie & Morgan, John & Natalie McCombe.  John will be missed by his friends in Wasaga Beach.  John was proud of his service in the Royal Navy and his long career at McDonnell-Douglas in Malton. At the young age of 63, following complications from surgery, Bob died suddenly but peacefully on Friday April 14, 2017, surrounded by family at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood.  Bob was born in Hamilton and retired from Stelco after 33 years.  Bob and his soulmate of 34 years, Lynda (nee Harrison) then retired to Wasaga Beach.  Loving stepfather to Randy and to grandchildren Randi-Lyn and Nicolas. After a long illness it is with heavy hearts that the Groves family announces the peaceful passing of Tom at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington in his 66th year. Tom is predeceased by his parents Thomas Groves and May Groves, his stepmother Blanche Groves, and his siblings Dale Groves and Linda Newman.  Tom is survived by his siblings Wendy De La Franier and Debbie (Butch) Blagojevic.  As well, Tom is survived by his children Lawrence, Tammy (Robert), Teresa from his late wife Madeleine, his children Robert and Ashley from his wife Jane, and his children Brandon and Shannon from his wife Laura. He is also survived by grandchildren Auston, Brandon, Christopher, Corrina, Deanna, Emily, Megan, Mikayla, Owen and Sarah. As well as, Great-Grandchildren Alainah, Jason, Kinsley and Liam.  Tom leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the professional care team at Joseph Brant Hospital, Hamilton General Hospital and Wesley Special Care Unit. Tom had a varied work life but most notably he was a Toronto Transit Commission Operator for streetcars and later buses and performed his duties for the TTC out of Russell, Roncesvalles and Malvern Divisions. Tom had been a resident of Wasaga Beach for a period of his life and it was his wish, which is being honoured by the family, to return and to be buried close to his brother in the Wasaga Beach Cemetery. Loving mother of Peter and his wife Suzanne. Proud Gramma to Bailey, Jane, Hunter, Emily and Rachel. Sister-in-law to Dianne (Donnie) Phillips and aunt to Mathew Phillips (Ally). Daughter-in-law of Leona Herron and the late Austin Herron. Susan will be sadly missed by her many friends and the Coffee Ladies at Tim’s. She loved her flower gardens. Died peacefully on Saturday April 8, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 88.  Agnes was a loving and devoted mother of Diane Brookings, Pudgie Levesque (Claude), the late John Brookings, Eric Brookings (Brenda), Dennis Brookings (late Paulette), Tracey Greves(Kevin), Liz May (Joe Guido), Tana Brookings and Jane Fufari (Rocky).  Agnes will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Survived by her sisters Mary and Veronica and predeceased by sisters Chris, Betty, Ann and Theresa.  She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Agnes was a loving and nurturing mother of deep faith. Died peacefully on Sunday April 2, 2017 surrounded by family at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in her 90th year.  Joyce of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Ronald Dale for 65 years.  Loving mother of Michael (Janet), Chris (Sylvie) and David (Dianne).  Cherished Grandmother of Andrea (Brandon Woodham), Nicole (John Hargrave), Whitney (Andrew Moore), Carly (Jeff Akitt), Bradley (Katelyn), Brittany (Jonathan Ingham), Nicholas Abbott, Rebecca (Chris Lindo), Blair and Kelsey and to great grandchildren Lilly and Addison Woodham and April Lindo.  Dear sister of Sheila (late Cliff Everett), the late Joan (late Roy Bates), the late David (Mary) Goodwin and the late Alison Goodwin and sister-in-law of John Walker (late Frances).  Joyce will also be missed by her family in England, her neighbours and her many friends.  Joyce was social and outgoing and made friends easily.  She enjoyed the tranquility of her gardens and she loved to knit.  Many of her creations are cherished family keepsakes.  First and foremost was her love for her family and the joy they brought to her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren in recent years.  She will be deeply missed.  Friends were received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Friday April 7, 2017 from 1 p.m. for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock.  If desired, donations to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Joyce’s family.  To sign the Book of Memories, log on to www.carruthersdavidson.com

Passed away on Sunday April 2, 2017 surrounded by her family at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland at the age of 90.  Betty, formerly of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Arthur Hayward (1991).  Loving mother of the late Vic Hayward (Darlene), Pat (Don Gulley), Jack Hayward (Catherine), Jim Hayward (Jodi) and Debbie Hayward.  Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 1 late grandson, 29 great-grandchildren,1 late great-granddaughter and 1 great, great-granddaughter.  Dear sister of Dorothy Henning, Harold Laycock, Lorna McCracken, Catherine Skelton, the late Martin Laycock, the late Max Laycock, the late Bill Laycock and the late Ted Laycock. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.  She is knitting up a storm with golden threads!  Friends were received at the, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday April 5, 2017.  Funeral Service was held at First Baptist Church, 205 Oak Street, Stayner on Thursday April 6, 2017 at 1 o’clock.   Private Interment Ivy Presbyterian Cemetery. Died peacefully at the age of 76, on Monday April 3, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, surrounded by his family.  Bob, formerly of North Bay, lived in Wasaga Beach with his beloved wife Helen of over 54 years.  Loving father of Kim (Doug Galloway), Keith (Emma) and Lynne Waters(Frank Maddalena). Cherished Gramps of Kayla, David and Steven Galloway, Stephanie Nighbor (Jean-Guy Menard) and Courtney Nighbor.  Dear brother of Ron (Janet), Suzanne (Gene Leclair)and Dan (Gina).  Bob will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, the Panos and Guindon families and his many friends. Bob was an easy going man who travelled extensively for both pleasure and work and was proud of his early years with the RCAF and as a talented musician. Died suddenly on Friday March 31, 2017 at the age of 53.  Richard formerly of Wasaga Beach, much loved father of Alexis and Sydney.  He will also be sadly missed by their mother Paula, his brother Lee and his wife Kim,  his step-sisters Tammy House and her wife Janet Baker and Trish and her husband Peter Carnevale, his mother Evelyn, his father Larry, his mother-in-law Michele and her husband Kevin Inglis, sister-in-law Sonia and her husband Jim Van Roestel, brother-in-law David Draper and his wife Sheri and his cherished nieces and nephews – Jack, Skyler, Adam, Sophie, Cheryl and Jamie, Josh and Carole, and Max and great nephew Jase.  Richard was a kind and generous man who was a friend to many.  He made many friends through his business Richard Plumbing and Mechanical, through his love of sports – particularly golf and hockey and was known for his great sense of humour and easy going nature.  He lived his mantra “It’s all good, man! – Saul Goodman”.  He enjoyed the outdoors and spending those special moments camping and boating with his family, especially his daughters.  He will be deeply missed.   Friends were received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Wednesday April 5, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Service was held on Thursday April 6, 2017 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 4 o’clock.  Reception and celebration to follow at the Marlwood Golf and Country Club, 31 Marlwood Avenue, Wasaga Beach.  If desired, donations to the charity of your choice in Richard’s memory would be appreciated by his family.  To sign the Book of Memories, log on to www.carruthersdavidson.com

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 75. Dick, of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Marie. Dear Father of Dan (Alison), Suzanne (Harry Hess), Darin (Jess), Ryan (Meaghen) and Marc. Grandfather of Emily, Lauren, Annabelle, Jack and Paige. Predeceased by sister Ann Cross. Dick served as a member of the Ontario Provincial Police and will be missed on the golf course. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Noel Chabanel Roman Catholic Church, 133 Dunkerron Avenue, Wasaga Beach on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Marlwood Golf and Country Club, 31 Marlwood Avenue, Wasaga Beach.
