She also dedicated her time to serving her community both as a nurse and as a treasured volunteer with the New Life Assembly Missions Room and The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Elaine’s love touched the lives of so many people both locally and abroad, demonstrated by her many mission trips to Uzbekistan and Haiti. She was a thoughtful and talented crafter, admired organizer, avid bird watcher and devoted friend. She loved nothing more than cuddling her grandchildren and being surrounded by family and friends. Her patriotic spirit, faith and humanitarian efforts will continue to live on in the hearts and lives of her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, brother, as well as her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and treasured nieces and nephews.
