Passed away peacefully at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, January 17, 2013.  Hendrika Johanna Antonia (van Kuppeveld) Van Bakel of Seaforth, formerly of the Netherlands, in her 92nd year.

Loving mother of Regina (Bill) Whyte of Seaforth, John (Janet) Van Bakel of Exeter, Mary Ann (Frank) Verberne of Dublin, Tony (Karen) Van Bakel of Mitchell and Joe (Carolyn Wood) Van Bakel of Clinton.  Cherished Grandma of 16 and Great-Grandma of three.  Also survived by her sister Pieta (Herman) Van Bakel of Mitchell; brother-in-law Harry (Anne) Van Bakel of London; and sisters-in-law Anna Rongen and Miet Dereks of Holland.  Rika will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Theodorus Van Bakel (Jan. 22, 2000); parents Johannes and Regina van Kuppeveld; Granddaughter Wendy; and numerous siblings and siblings-in-law.

Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, January 20th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Rika’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 22 Victoria St. N., Seaforth, on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11 a.m.  Private interment to take place at St. Columban Roman Catholic Cemetery and a reception will be held at the Seaforth & District Community Centre.

Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Hounsell) Ward for 47 years.  Loving father of Wanda (Gord) Taylor of Clinton, Cathy (Ken) Rollinson of Granton, Jim Ward (Susie Fitzsimmons) of Clinton and John (Karen) Ward of Vanastra.  Cherished Grandpa of Jordan, Dylan, Keegan, Braydon, Connor, Alana, Montona, Haley and Shayla.  Also survived by his mother Ada Ward of Ailsa Craig, and by his brother Larry (Marlene) Ward of London.

Predeceased by his father Noble Ward, and by his sister Rosemary (Bill) McLeod.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service for Wayne will be held at Bethel Bible Church, 126 Main St., Seaforth, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Bethel Bible Church Mission to Columbia would be appreciated and can be made at the service.

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Seaforth Community Hospital on Wednesday, January 9, 2013.  Dorothy Evelyn (nee McClure) Dalton of Seaforth, formerly of Londesborough, in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Dalton.  Loving mother of Carl ‘Kelly’ Dalton and his wife Sharon of RR#1 Londesborough, Kathy Ward and her husband Ron of Staffa.  Cherished Grandma of Jamie Dalton (Jennifer), Jason Dalton, Kelly-Ann Keys (Adam), Jennifer Ward (Rick Kerr), Michael Ward; and Great-Grandma of Niamh and Colin Dalton and Cameron and Chloe Kerr.  Dear sister-in-law of Fern McClure of Egmondville, Doris Muir of Seaforth and Janet Davies of Seaforth.  Dorothy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her daughter Blanche Coady; parents William and Emiline (nee Storey) McClure;  siblings Harvey McClure (Bessie), Sam McClure (Mary),  Nelson McClure, Marg Carter (Tom), Bert McClure (Dorothy), James McClure, Walter McClure (Muriel), Mavis Dalton (Percy); and siblings-in-law Murray Dalton, Doug Dalton (Jean) and Dave Muir.

Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, January 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A funeral service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon at Cavan United Church, Winthrop.  Spring interment to take place at Maitland Bank Cemetery.

Beloved wife of Stephen Maloney for 52 years.  Loving mother of Debbie (John) Hill of Dublin, Tom (Lorie) Maloney of Riley, AB, Ed (Dawna) Maloney of Dublin and Jody (Rob) Brown, also of Dublin.  Cherished Grandma of Nick (Erica), Justin, Kailey, Candice (Chris), Nicole, Joe (Beth), Britt (Josh), Robyn, Peter, Stephanie, Travis,  Alexis; and Great-Grandma of Zac, Annabelle and Deni.  Dear sister of Theresa ‘Terry’ (Fred) Overdulve of Strathroy, Pat (Mae) Feeney of Tillsonburg, Ted (Diane) Feeney of Kitchener; and sister-in-law of Theresa Mederak of Kitchener, John (Mary Margaret) Maloney of Seaforth, Frank (Louise) Maloney of Kitchener, Louis (Therese) Maloney of Seaforth, Joan (Jack) Haggerty of Guelph and Jim (Susan) Maloney of Stratford.  Cecilia will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by infant daughter Donna Marie; her parents William and Mary (nee Flanigen) Feeney; siblings-in-law Margaret (Pat) O’Rourke, Harold Mederak, Mary (Leonard) Morrison and Peter Maloney.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Funeral Mass for Cecilia will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 81 Mill St., Dublin on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 a.m.  Led by Fr. Chris Gillespie.  A reception in the church hall will immediately follow the Mass and spring interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dublin.

Survived by her husband of 58 years, Henry Pennings; and by her children, Rita (Brian) Kennedy of Dorchester, Toni (Robert) Connolly of Stittsville, Gerry (Debbie) Pennings of Zurich, Mary Jane Andreola of Fernie, BC, Betty (Gary) Regier of St. Joseph, and Elaine (Ken) DeCorte of Seaforth.  Also survived by her 17 loving grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Kelly (Steve), Ryan, Lisanne, Ben, Jessie, Erin, Alicia (Will), Lauren, Luke, Montana, Hunter, Corey (Lauren), Alex, Shauna, Kyle, Jeff, Leah, Avery & Myla.  She is predeceased by her parents, Theodoris and Antonia Braam and by her sisters and brothers, Dora (Jan) Coppens, Marie (Jos) Van Grinsven, Gerrit Braam, Nolda (Kees) Steltenpool, Tonnie (Gerrit) Poels, Theo Braam (in childhood), Annie (Johan) van Uden and Theo (Jaantje) Braam.  Also survived by her sister-in-law Jaantje Braam and many brothers and sisters-in-law of the Pennings family, nephews and nieces both in Holland and in Canada.

Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Tuesday, January 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:20 a.m. followed by procession to St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria St. N., Seaforth, for Wilma’s Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.  Fr. Chris Gillespie officiating.  Private interment to take place at St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth followed by a funeral luncheon.

Predeceased by his wife, Edna (nee Smith); parents, John and Mary (nee Rogerson); and brothers, Melville and Wallace and families.

Beloved wife of Martinus Ritzema of RR2 Kippen; predeceased by her first husband Matthys Van Leeuwen (June 2001).  Loving mother of Susan La Gro (Steven), Tyson Van Leeuwen (Jessica), Tina De Leye (Craig), Henrietta Van Leeuwen, Evelyn Roth (Cory) and Gary Van Leeuwen.  Cherished Oma of many grandchildren.  Adriaantje will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 332 Huron Street West, Exeter, on Tuesday, December 18th from 6-9 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at Exeter Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10 a.m.  Interment will take place at Delmer Cemetery, 312242 Dereham Line, Delmer, at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 19th and a reception will follow at the Delmer United Church, 312281 Dereham Line, Delmer.

Survived by his siblings Barb Decarle (Alan) of California, Mary Scott of Toronto, Bob Scott of London and Archie Scott of Southampton and sisters-in-law Joyce Glanville of Exeter and Margaret Ann Kehn of Sarnia.

Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Kehn) Scott, sons Ervin and Patrick, both in infancy, sisters Betty Allen and Shirley Bullock and by his brother Ervin Scott.

Cremation has taken place and memorial visitation was held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 519-527-1390 on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Roy’s memorial service to celebrate his life at 2 p.m.  Interment took place at St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery and a reception followed at the Seaforth Legion Branch 156.

Beloved wife and best friend of Bob Duffy for 61 years.  Loving mother of Randy Duffy (Debbie) of Spruce Grove, AB, Bill Duffy of Seaforth, Marian Finlayson (Jim) of Seaforth, Cathy Hulley (Paul) of Seaforth, Jeanette Riegger (Bernie) of Stony Plain, AB, Barb Van Roessel (Ed) of Staffa, Tom Duffy (Mandy) of Seaforth, Eileen Nash (Bob) of Stratford and Angela Barnett (Geordie) of Orangeville.  Cherished Grandma of 25 and Great-Grandma of eight.  Also survived by her siblings Rita Quick of Chatham, Raymond Regier of Windsor, Donald Regier (Nancy) of Ripley, John Regier of London, Joe Regier of Crediton and Phillip Regier of Exeter; sisters-in-law Catherine Regier of Walkerton, Evelyn Regier of Barrie and Rita Manley of Stratford.  Ruth will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Albert and Mary Regier, nine brothers and sisters and 17 in-laws.
