Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Shelagh Margaret (Taylor) Temple, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late William Milton “Bud” Temple. Loving mother of Rae (Val) of Lethbridge, AB, Kevin (Maria) of Prescott, ON, Cathie Crukley (Adam) of London, ON, Bill (Liz) of Loveland, OH, and Rob (Lisa) of Johnstown, ON. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Brian, Mark, Jada, Denise, Cindy, Jennifer, Jeff, Neil, Travis, Ben, Jake, Zach and Katie as well as by her eight great grandchildren. Shelagh was predeceased by her brother Desmond Taylor of Manchester, England and she will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Sheila and their family, Kevin Taylor (Kai) and Ann Hartigan (Mark) also of Manchester, England. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Monday, July 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Members of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Women’s League will gather for the Recitation of the Rosary Monday at 3:0 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Tuesday, July 24th at 10:00 a.m. Following cremation private interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday afternoon. Peterson, Anne Vivienne (Craig) of Prescott

Entered into rest at Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site, July 15, 2012. AnneVivienne Peterson (nee Craig), in her 85th year. Vivienne is lovingly remembered by her son Kenton Peterson (Rose-Marie) and her grandchildren Erik Peterson and Laura Greenlee (Michael). She is the daughter of the late Robert and May Craig of Metcalfe. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Arthur Peterson and her sister Lola Adams. Vivienne was born in Metcalfe, Ontario and lived the last 60 years in Prescott, Ontario.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A service in honour and celebration of Vivienne”s life will take place in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Metcalfe Union Cemetery, Metcalfe. Helen Jacqueline “Jackie” Jakes

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site, on Thursday, July 12, 2012. Helen Jacqueline (Byrd) Jakes, at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of Gerald Jakes and cherished mother of Michael Jakes and Geoffrey Jakes (Vivian). Loving grandmother of Nicole Guerin (Fred), Kyle Jakes and Jamie Jakes (Tiffany) and Oneida Crawford, and great grandmother of Hailey and Caleb Guerin, Preston, Ceynna, and Kursten Jakes. Also survived by her brother Warren Byrd and by her sisters Sandra Lennox and Barbara Boal. She was predeceased by parents John and Jean Byrd.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service in honour of Mrs. Jakes’ life will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11 am at Chapel followed by a reception. Interment will take place at South Gower Cemetery.
