Beloved wife of the late Doug Isard and the late Tom Mylan. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Tom Mylan and Annaliese Griffin of Vermont. Loved grandma of Lester and Olive. Forever loved daughter of Norma (Jennison) (Desjardine) Walper of Grand Bend and the late Iray Desjardine (1977). Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mona and Dave Hunt of Winnipeg, MB, the late Jim (2011) and Judy Desjardine of London, Nancy and John Pritchard of Vancouver Island, BC, Mark and Angie Desjardine of Centralia. STRONG:  Peacefully at home, with his family at his side, on Friday, November 24, 2017, Barry Albert Strong of Grand Bend, formerly of Windsor, age 84.  Beloved husband of Sharon Anne Marie (Schiller) Strong of 56 years.  Cherished father and father-in-law of Kelly (Mike) of Grand Bend, Colleen (John) of Grand Bend, Catherine of Toronto,  the late Maureen (2007) (John and Kathye) of Connecticut, Christina (Bill) of Mississauga, Ray (Sherri) of Newmarket, Carolyn (Achille) of Cambridge, Mary-Anne (Richard) of London, the late John (2004) and Tom (Gillian) of Toronto.  Treasured grandfather of Kurtis, Nicholas, Blake, Lukas, Connor, Christopher, Corey, Fana, Cecilia, Georgia, Spencer, Alexis, Lucca, Matteo, Roman and Jasper.  Barry will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Rita (McMahon) Schiller.  Dear brother-in-law of Jim (Joanne) Schiller, Mike (Robin) Schiller, Tom (Debbie) Schiller, Bill (Mary) Schiller, Pat (Theresa) Schiller and Josephine Strong.  Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families.  Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Cecilia (Gignac) Strong, brother Joseph Strong and father-in-law, Ray Schiller.  Barry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and strongly dedicated to his family.  He was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, strong character, humour and love of Bridge.  Barry’s career spanned for over 45 years as a Registered Dental Technician and later a Denturist in Windsor, Tilbury and Leamington. He was also the original owner of Dutch Boy Ice Cream Shop, Dutch Girl Gift Shop and the Wicker Shop in Grand Bend. Resting at the T. Copp of Grand Bend, age 50, formerly of Halifax, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 18, 2017, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Meaghan O’Rourke Copp.  Cherished father of Duncan, Katrijn and Sebona. Forever loved son of the late Garth Copp (1994) and Joan Milton of Nova Scotia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Darren Copp and Teri Huggins of Kelowna, British Columbia, Suzelle and Tim Moore of Burlington, Kieran and Tara O’Rourke of Oshawa, Eamon and Melissa O’Rourke of Petawawa and Mairead O’Rourke of Grand Bend. Loved son-in-law of Terry and Jean O’Rourke of Grand Bend. Derek will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his passion for family, Derek was an educator. O’CONNOR:  Jonathan Ian O’Connor passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10th 2017, at home, surrounded by family, after a long fight with cancer.  Born in Dublin, Ireland, Jon, known for his sporting achievements, excelled in both hockey and soccer, went to South Huron District High School and then Lafayette College, Pennsylvania. After receiving an MA in International Studies from University of Kent, in Canterbury, UK,  Jon moved to Singapore and traded oil for several banks. His trading career culminated as Head Trader for Merrill Lynch in London, England. In 2012, Jon and family returned to Canada, where he founded a hops import and export company in British Colombia, with an Ontario office in Centralia. His passion for sports never waned.  Husband and best friend of Elaine (Shields) O’Connor, recently of Edmonton.  Loved and devoted father of Oscar, Caroline and Constance O’Connor.  Forever loved son of Dr. Liam O’Connor and his wife Wendy of Grand Bend and dear brothers David O’Connor (Silvia) and Dane Richardson (Emily).  Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and their families. Also mourned by the Allen and Shields families.  Resting at the T.
