After a short but brave battle with cancer Mervyn Campbell Eyre passed peacefully at home in St. Thomas, with family by his side on Monday, May 29, 2017 in his 83rd year.  Predeceased by his loving wife Nellie (Baxter) Eyre (2010).  Proud father of Sheila and Rob Wiggins of Brantford, and Jane and Jake Kruspel of London. Devoted Pawpaw of Amanda and Lauren Wiggins, and Emily and Craig Kruspel. Dear brother of Laurence and Dianne Eyre, Douglas and Dorothy Eyre, and the late Marlyn Gray (2013).  Dear brother-in-law of Ronald and Ora Baxter. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Campbell and Grace (Tinney) Eyre.

Tragically on Friday, May 5 2017 of Arva in his 44th year. Son of the late Bill and Sue (Scott) Matthews. Fiancé of Carrie MacGregor. Much loved brother of Julaine Matthews and her friend Greg, and Mike and Melissa Matthews. Proud uncle of Tanner and Avery Deeks. Steve will be remembered by Joyce and Larry MacGregor, Steve MacGregor, Ron MacGregor and Heather Killins, Sheri and Darryl Murray, Julie Cooke and Chuck Dempsey and Mya, Madison, Justin, Drew, Austin and Dylan. He will sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in her 87th year. She went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. Beloved wife of the late Harry Harm Knip (1989). Loving mother to Fred and Aileen of Exeter; Frances (2015) and Allen Wynja of Seaforth; Clifford and Karen of Lucan; Rolinda and Ron deRuiter of Lucan; and Victor of Hoboken, New Jersey. Adored Oma to 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Grietje Boven, Roelf Bos and Hendrik Jan Bos. Predeceased by her sisters Roelfiena Bakker, Siertje Bouman, and Hindrika DeJonge, and  brother Pieter Bush. Klasiena immigrated from the Netherlands in 1953 and married Harry Harm Knip, where they farmed in the Lucan area. She was an active member and volunteer of the Exeter Christian Reformed Church and her community. Her servant heart was evident to all and she made many life-long friends.

Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Cherished grandma of Caitlyn, Jordan (Kate), Samantha (Hadden), William (Sophie); Derriane, Madison, Tyson, Reed; Kara, Dannika, Hailie, and Darlene. Dear great-grandma of Hudson. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Clendon Kerr of Toronto, Bill (Ingrid) Kerr of Clinton, Kevin Kerr of London, Joanne McLaren of London, Rob (Tracey) of London, Carolyn (Randy) Redmond of Huron Park, Dave Kennedy of Centralia, and Bill Dixon of London. Lynda was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Ron Riley, Don Riley, Gayle Riley, Marilyn Dixon and Cheryl Kennedy.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Lynda’s life will be held at the Centralia Community Centre, 148 Melbourne Street, Centralia from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter entrusted with arrangements.
