100 years, passed away April 3, 2013 in London.  Formerly of Harrow. Margaret was the daughter of the late Bella (Catherwood) and Franklin Martin. Predeceased by brothers W. G and Keith, her husband Harold, longtime teacher and principal at the Harrow Public School, and infant daughter Marilyn. Loving  mother of Evelyn Kearns of Arlington Heights IL and Stuart (Nina) Watson of London. Devoted  grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She was an involved and hard working member of the community having been a telephone operator, grocery clerk, sales clerk at the Harrow Dime Store and Madill’s Furniture Store and assistant at the Harrow Fair office. As well as a caring neighbour and friend, Margaret was a life member of the Harrow United Church, Sunday school  teacher, choir member and  was active in many church organizations . She  was a life member of the Women’s Institute and a member of the Rebekah Lodge for 80 years. Margaret enjoyed cooking, baking, travelling, playing cards, sewing, knitting and crocheting, but most of all she loved being with family and friends.
