Predeceased by her son Philippe. Dear sister of Donat (late Lorraine) of Hanmer. Predeceased by her sister Jacqueline Galipeau (late Leo) and by her brothers Odilon Serre (late Yvette) and Edouard. Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Alex, Roger, Joanne and great-grandmother of Taylor, Dylan, Jacob, Caleb. Thérèse was born in Blind River on May 25th, 1929. Cherished wife of René Martin for 66 years. Loving mother of Juliette Fellbaum (Paul) of Peterborough, Gérald (Marilyn) of Sudbury, Donald (predeceased) and Françoise Martin-Winchester (Keith) of Kingston. Dear grandmother of Renée, Anthony (Pamela), Krista (Marcel), Sean (Jennifer), Robert (predeceased), Heather and Lori. Great-grandmother of Abigail, Evelyn, Mathieu, Charlie, Nola and Veronica. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Marie Rose (née Huot) Provost. Beloved sister of Yvonne Shields (Joe), Émilien (predeceased) Provost (Rolande), Denise Chartrand (René), Annette Rancourt (Gérald) and Aline Rinta (Ronald predeceased). Thérèse will be remembered as a gifted seamstress who expressed her entrepreneurial and artistic side through numerous endeavours and hobbies. Thérèse and René spent many winters travelling to Florida, Texas and many other destinations in North America. Beloved grandfather of Cyrus Severin and Braeden Fleury. Dear brother of Florence “Dolly” Kerr (Don), Harry (Aline) and Dennis. Predeceased by his granddaughter Leah Severin and by his brother Orville Severin. Dear sister of Laura Plante (Irené), Raymonde Aumond, Simon (Roseline), Marcellin (late Angèle) and Ernest (Francine). Predeceased by her siblings Laurette (late Paul), Henri, Joseph, René (Jeanne d’Arc), Alfreda and Fleurette. Cherished grandmother of 32 and great-grandmother of 20. Predeceased by her grand-daughters Sylvie, Angèle and great-grandson Kyle. Rolande fought a courageous battle with cancer and defeated all odds. She would always put everyone before herself and would always welcome you with open arms! She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Richard (her soul mate & best friend for 42 years). Daughter of the late Omer & Anna (Miron) Leblanc. Loving mother of David (Maria), Daniel (Jessica), Julie (Mitch) and Andrew. Cherished grandmother of Kayla and Noah, Ethan and Vanessa and Kennedy. Dear sister of Maurice (Moe) Leblanc predeceased (1969) & twin sister Marie predeceased (newborn). Dear sister-in-law of Naomi Taylor & Will Knapp. Will be sadly missed by her special cousins Georgette, Lola, Colette & Lise, Diana & special friends Bernie & Sue Oliver. Her true friend “Shep”, her sheltie, will miss her dearly.

Pauline and Richard and family attended “Paroisse L’Annonciation” until Pauline became ill; the family then transferred to “St. Andrew the Apostle”.

Pauline had a great devotion to Our Blessed Mother & the Rosary. She was a member of the funeral choir & the CWL. Pauline’s special talent was baking pies; everyone said her crust was the flakiest.

Pauline would like to thank so many very special people for their prayers and support: Church friends -Val, Laura, Imelda, and Yvette; neighbours Guy & Claudette for their generosity; Dr. Lopez, Lizette, Dr. Pearce & all the compassionate nurses in the chemo room and the nurses from Bayshore; A special thank you to “Sharon M.”; and a very special thank you to Father Sam for his visits & moral support.

VEZINA, FrancoisPeacefully passed away with his family by his side on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 in Sudbury at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Léonard and Evelina (née Guérin) Vézina. Beloved husband of 55 years to Jeannine (née Pelland) Vézina. Loving father of Ginette (Vito Repele), Donald, André (Mellaney Dahl) and Nicole (Dominic Jacot). Cherished grandfather of Dayna, Josée, Erica, Jayde, Olivia and Timothy. Predeceased by his siblings; Armand, Lionel, Arthur, Omer, Edouard, Victor, Joseph, Lucille, Alma and Simone. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dear sister of Roland Roy (Bonnie) of Oxford Mills, Denise Sheppard (Steve) of Sudbury, Guy Roy (Abby) of Barrie and step-sister of Michel St-Pierre (Debbie) of Capreol, Daniel St-Pierre of Parry Sound and Don St-Pierre (Stefanie) of Val Caron. Lovingly remembered by her best friend and cousin Carol Austin, as well as by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sadly missed by her canine companion “Princess”. Loving Dad of Lee, son-in-law Chris, and Stacey. King Leopold and Prince Hans a.k.a. “Grampy” to Princess Chelsea his cherished granddaughter. Predeceased by parents David and Anastasia Carrier (nee Savoie) and siblings Wilfred, Jimmy, Bobby, Toni, and Eva. Survived by his sister Shirley, husband Wes Beacock and brother Phil, wife Nonie. Favorite Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Leo was never happier than when he was playing his guitar and singing. His love of music brought pleasure to his family and everyone who knew him. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone on the 4th floor who cared for Leo in any way, you are special people. Thanks to Dr. Mirka for walking the journey with us.
