Predeceased by his sister Pierrette Chartrand (Gaston) of Hull, QC. Cherished great-grandfather with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Linda Petch (Leonard), Marlene Potvin (Phil), Sharon Benan (Rick), Donald and Gerry. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Raymond was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was a heavy equipment mechanic. In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. UDESCHINI, EnnioIt is with deep sadness that the family of Ennio “Bob” Udeschini announces his passing on July 9, 2015. Born in Pergine, Italy July 13, 1929, he made his home in Canada for more than 65 yrs. An active member of our community for many years, Ennio was an accomplished bridge player and a life member of the Caruso Club. Survived by his wife and partner of more than 54 yrs., Rina (nee Zavattin); his son Claudio Pen (Vicki Macartney); his adored grandsons Adam Pen (Denise); Aaron Pen and Andrew Pen (Sharon); and a very special great grandson Jayden. Also survived by his brother Diego Udeschini (Myonne) of North Bay; sister-in-law Ingrid Udeschini (Adrio) and brother-in-law Bing Patterson (Donatella) of Sudbury; as well as numerous nieces and nephews both in North Bay and in Sudbury. Ennio was predeceased by his parents Carlo Udeschini & Elda Andreatta; by his brothers Adrio and Mario; his sister Donatella and his nephew Ronald Udeschini. KOZICKI, EdwardThe family announces with great sorrow his passing at St. Gabriel’s Villa, Thursday, July 2, 2015 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of 65 years to Stefania (nee Serafin) Kozicki. Dear father of Lily Jutras (Ray), Irene Kozicki (Ray Watier), Edward Jr. (Mariette), Richard, Susan Kozicki-Pan (Tony), Kristina Kozicki (Glen Brisson) Stanley, Michael (Boomer his pet dog) and predeceased by his son Tady Kozicki. Cherished grandfather to Sasha, Tiffany, Maggie (Scott), Stefanie (Dave), Ryan (Jenna), Chad (June), Chelsea, Nicholas (Ashley), Jason and Jeffrey. Edward was born in Borki, Poland on August 2, 1923. He bravely served in WWII and was a proud member of the Sudbury Polish Combatant Association. He immigrated to Canada in 1948 and retired from INCO after 34 years of service. He was well respected, honest, hardworking and a generous man who was a good provider and committed to his family. In his early years, he enjoyed fishing and in his later years, his passion was woodworking, antiques and taking Mama to yard sales. Huge thank you to the staff members as St. Gabriel’s Villa for taking such good care of Edward. Special thanks to Lynn Bass for your personal care, compassion and hugs. Cherished wife of Thomas Berg of Garson. Loving mother of Scott Berg (Elaine) of Barrie and Cathy Berg of Garson. Predeceased by all her siblings; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Predeceased by his sisters Rita Larochelle, Lina Delaire (Edgar of Sudbury), Juliette Ross and by his brother Lucien Ross. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Son of Dolorès (née Blais) Berthiaume and Hervé Berthiaume (predeceased). Loving father of Julie Rodrigue (Alain) and Sophie Allman (James). Dear brother of Maurice Berthiaume (Hélène) and Paulette Berthiaume (predeceased). Also survived by brother Edwin “Ted” Hill and sister Eileen Moss-Hill. Predeceased by brothers Milton Hill, Morris Hill and Raymond Hill. Cherished grandfather of Chloé, Tristan and Isla. Also survived by his father-in-law Aurélien Vachon and Constance Vachon. Sadly missed by sisters and brothers-in- law, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many cherished friends. He was an accomplished teacher having taught at Collège Boréal and was an avid entrepreneur. In keeping with Norman’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. PAQUETTE, DianeBorn April 14th, 1938 in Sudbury the daughter of Adelard Chartrand and Blanche (Girard) Chartrand both deceased. Wife and best friend of Romeo Paquette. Loving mother of David (Brenda) and daughter Lori-Ann. Loving grandmother of Bryan, Ashley and Jennifer. Great grandmother of Olivia, Ethan and Carter. Sister of Bob Chartrand (Theresa) and sister of Betty Guenette (Roger). Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Diane was very involved in the community, especially the Daughters of Isabella. She held the highest position in Canada for the English section of the Daughters of Isabella as state Regent, a lector at her church, past president of St-Charles College, past secretary of the advisory board for the residents of Extendicare Falconbridge, volunteered with CNIB for 30 years, a member of the CWL St. Andrew the Apostle church, she will be remembered for her love of people and her family. A true example of womanhood, a faithful servant of God. Your work is done here. Yours is the Kingdom of Heaven, You will be sadly missed.
