Loving father of Claude (late Nancy), Armand (Dianne), Claire Gignac (Gary) and David all of Sudbury, Donald (Debbie) of Kamloops, BC and Ryan “Normand” (Susan) of Surrey, BC and step-father of Victor (Andrea) Simon, Michel Simon (Valerie), Robert Simon (Caulette), Gilles Simon (Mark) and Lise Bouillon (Paul). Predeceased by his siblings Oliva (late Christine) (Alice of Sudbury), Victor (Irene of Sudbury), Lionel, Xavier (late Yvette), Antoine, Rosalda Ciola (late Dominic), Eleonor Bertrand (late Joseph Paquette and late Emile), Exilda Gladu (late Leon Paquette, late Mederic Sauve, and late Ovila Gladu), Cécile Lehman (late Charles), Florida Henri (late Jean),  Florence Gascon (late David), Marie Anna Hodgins (late Gordon), Orelle, Hector and Germaine. Cherished grandfather of Mark, Tiffany, Stephen, Renée, Michelle, Gabriel G., Gabriel B., Evan, Daniel and step-grandfather of Patrick, Jerome, Elaine, Justin and Benoit. And great-grandfather to Deacon, Atlas, Caresse, Felix, William, B.I.O. and Arthur. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. LAJEUNESSE, LeoLéo passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Extendicare Falconbridge on April 15th 2016 at 91 years of age. Son of the late Félix Lajeunesse and the late Clara Cazabon. He married Thérèse Comtois (1930-2003) with whom he had seven children: Gérald, Paulette, Diane (Dan Hawes) all of Sudbury, Normand (Suzanne Charette) of St.Charles, Alain (Lise Dupont) of Kanata, Lorraine (David Jackson) of Whitby, and late Gaëtan.  He was the very proud grandfather of Martin (Noémie), Benoit (Cindy), Manon, Éric, Yves, Lindsay, Kevin, Dayna, Zachary and Holly and great grandfather of Mila, Valérie, Fabienne and Xavier. He is survived by his sister Alice Dicaire of Ottawa and pre-deceased by his brothers and sisters Marie-Ange Desjardins, Claire Chrétien, Henri, Lévis, Gertrude Rousseau, Flore Pilon-Poulin, Dollard, Joseph and Rosaire.  Léo was warm, hospitable and fun loving, always ready to lend a helping hand, for whom family always came first.  Family and friends will received at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Boulevard, on Monday April 18th from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Dominique Church on Tuesday April 19th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Parkinson’s Society by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.

GERVAIS, HectorIn loving memory of Hector “Hec” Gervais, who passed away with his family by his side in Sudbury on Monday, April 4th,2016 at the age 94. Hector was married to his childhood love of his life Audrey “Pet” (nee Furlong) for 73 years on June 17th, 1943 in Coniston where Hector grew up. However he was born in Sturgeon Falls on February 19, 1922. Son of the late Leonard and late Anna (nee Martin) Gervais. Loving father of Robert “Bob” (Carmen) and Guy (Sharon Massicotte) (late Paulette Collin). Cherished grandfather of Ann (Pat Vince), Sandy (Charlette McCracken), Barbara (Remi Morelleo), Julie (Dale Kingsley), Neil Gervais and Sylvie (Dave Duschene). Great-grandfather of Brandon, Sheldon Kingsley and Gabrielle Duschene. Dear brother of Armand (late Theresa) and Isabelle Ladourante (late Roy). Predeceased by his siblings Jean-Paul (late Ida), Marie Cousineau (late Leo) and Desneiges “Denny” Morin (late Alcide). Dad will be missed also by his brother-in-law’s Arnold “Bud” Furlong (Gertrude). Predeceased by his brother-in-law Charlie Bush and by his sister-in-law Aileen Charron (late Lucien). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Hector and Audrey loved watching the Maple Leaf’s and Blue Jay games together. They enjoyed there summer cottage, going to Florida and curling in their younger years. Hector will be remembered for his lovely Greenhouses. Beloved wife of 44 years to Claude Wissell. Loving mother of Julie Lock (William “Bill”) and René Wissell (Emily). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Melissa, Vanessa, Billy, Westley and Laina. Dear sister of Robert (Suzanne), Aimé (Barbara), Gilbert (Fernande), Daniel, Rejean (late Evelyn), Paulette Brisson (Gaëtan) and Paul (Angèle). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Claudette was a passionate traveler, enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved spending time at the cottage at Barlow Lake. She was an avid gardener and took much pride in her flower garden.
