KIPFER, Laura of Tavistock

Laura Kipfer – passed away peacefully at her residence in Maples Nursing Home for Seniors, Tavistock on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at the age of 100. Laura was a member of Poole Mennonite Church and a former member of the WMSC.  Along with her husband Alfred, she was a former volunteer with Sonlight Missions and at Country Meadows in Brunner.  They also enjoyed travelling together.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred Kipfer who predeceased her in 2016.  Loving mother of Lloyd and Barb Kipfer and Doreen and Don Roth.  Cherished grandma of Brent (Sarah), Bryan (Anita), Bryce (Anjana), Brad (Kelly), Lori (Travis), Dennis (Yvonne) and great grandma of Joel, Micah, Joanna, Markus, Julia, Lena Kate, Daniel, Nayan, Kiaan, Kingston, Levi, Braeden, Connor, Carter and Zach.  Sister-in-law of Dora Roth and Ralph Kropf.   Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Laura was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Eli and Nancy (Nafziger) Roes, her sisters Emma and husbands Raymond Gerber and Amos Steckly, Esther Kropf, her brothers Alvin and wife Marie Roes, David and wife Mildred Roes, sister-in-law Marion and husband Edward Lebold and brother-in-law Michael Roth.

Visitation will be held at Poole Mennonite Church, 6475 Perth Road 121, on Friday October 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate Laura’s life will be held on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Fred Redekop and Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating.  Interment to follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

SCHADE, Marie of Listowel

Marie Schade – passed away peacefully at Livingstone Manor, Listowel on Sunday September 2, 2018 at the age of 96. Born June 6, 1922 in Ellice Township, she was the daughter of the late George H. Debus and the former Katharina Buuck.  She was predeceased by her husband Norman R. Schade in 1997 whom she married on June 10, 1944.  Marie resided in Listowel since 1973 and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton where she taught Sunday School for a number of years.  She was also a volunteer knitter for the Listowel Cradle Club for many years.

Beloved mother of Ken and his wife Dorothy (predeceased 2007), Barbara (predeceased 2018) and her husband David Smith, and Brian and his wife Pauline.  Devoted and loving grandmother of five grandchildren, April Watson (David), Christa Beyer (Tim), Steven Smith (Stephanie), Matt Schade and Jenn Schade (Craig).  Special great-grandma of Sophie and Lily Beyer, Blake and Evan Smith.    Dear sister of Doreen Graul and sister-in-law of Ruth Debus.  Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and five godchildren Ann McKenzie, Katherine Priestap, Bonnie Cluett, Rhonda Sutherland and Larry Graul.

Predeceased by her brothers Edward and Lorne (in infancy), Norman, Andy and his wife Mabel, sister Edna (in infancy), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Donald Graul, Georgina and Ken Smith, Irwin and Ferne Schade, June and Glen Hymers.

JOHNSTON, Donna of Route 2 Atwood

Donna Johnston – of Route 2 Atwood, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Donna passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at the age of 75. Donna was a member of Atwood United Church participating in the Sunday School, the church choir and United Church Women.  She was a former hairdresser, caterer and was involved with Brownies, Girl Guides and the Sweet Adelines.  Donna will be remembered for her wonderful singing voice.  Horses were Donna’s passion, and she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.

Beloved wife of Clarence Johnston whom she married in 2003.  Loving mother of Kelly Castano (Vince), Patty MacPherson (Paul Meaney), Scott (Charlotte). Step-mother of Kevin (Karen), Kim (Mark), Kent (Heather).  Nana of Quinn, Abigail, Mackenzie, Leah, Reese, step-nana of Tyler, Jamie, Alex, Kyla, Jaron, Aunika, Lana, Wade and step great-nana of Scarlett and Isla.  Sister of Marjorie Tucker and sister-in-law of Mary Fortune.  Fondly remembered by the extended Horton and Johnston families.

Predeceased by her parents Eldon and Mary (Eadie) Renwick, her first husband Cecil Horton and her brother Walter Renwick.

Lloyd Koch – of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday August 18, 2018 at the age of 81. Lloyd was the owner of Lloyd’s Small Engines for almost 50 years.  He was the founding Fire Chief of the Atwood Fire Department and will be remembered for his love of model trains.

Beloved husband of Millie (Fisher) Koch whom he married in 1968.  Loving father of Carolyn Rock (Randy) and Mike Koch (Nancy). Special grandpa of Jeremy, Erinn and Nikita.  Brother of Eleanor Holyhome (Ray) and Marjorie Eskrett.  Brother-in-law of Ima Fisher, Dr. Lloyd and Evelyn Fisher, Shirley Fisher, Betty Fisher, Harold and Wilma Fisher, and Merelda and Larry Lantz.  Remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Harold Smith – formerly of Atwood and Listowel, passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Friday August 10, 2018 at the age of 85. Harold was a member of Calvary United Church, Listowel, a former Steward and Elder of Atwood United Church and a former member of the Atwood Lions Club.  He was a past president of Perth County Junior Farmers, a former member of the Listowel Junior Farmers, enjoyed singing in a gospel quartet and will be remembered for his love of gardening.

Beloved husband for 58 years of Joan (Monteith) Smith.  Loving father of Brad (Mary), Scott (Paula) and Bonnie (Rob) McLaren.  Special grandpa of Curtis (Alysia), Jillian (Cody), Jennifer (Bryan), Carolyn (Winston), Katelyn (Nic), Greg (Erin), Corie, Jordan and great-grandpa of Lucas, Zachary, Grace, Lilly, Nolan and Ellie.  Dear brother of Clare (Joanne).  Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins.

LITTLE, Rev. Wallace Inglis – Peacefully passed away at home in Stratford, surrounded by his family on July 24, 2018 at the age of 83.

 He was devoted to his loving wife, Audrey of 60 years and was a cherished father of Jane (Pep) Philpott, Judy (Paul) Boivin, Karen (Rob) Congram and Kathy (the late Mark) Hoogsteen. Grandpa will be dearly missed by his 13 beautiful grandchildren, Bethany (Alex), Jacob, David and Lydia Philpott; Andrew, Luke and Sophie Boivin; Ben, Abby and Caroline Congram; and Timothy, Daniel and Samuel Hoogsteen. Wally was predeceased by his son, Gary Wallace Little (1966); his granddaughter, Emily Katherine Philpott (1991); his parents, Chester and Jessie; and his siblings Norman Little, Elgin Little, Jean McIntosh and Thelma Clarke. He had many loving nieces and nephews as well as several dear sisters- and brothers-in law. Wally will also be greatly missed by his dedicated caregiver, Mai.

 A man of great wisdom and integrity, Wally had a huge heart and a gentle spirit. He touched countless individuals during his 50 years of congregational ministry in Winnipeg, Cambridge, Collingwood, and Wasaga Beach, as well as serving in Thornbury, North Bay and Blantyre, Malawi in his retirement.

 Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood. Visitation at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 25 St. Andrew Street, Stratford, on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial Service at St. Andrew’s Hespeler Presbyterian Church, 73 Queen St. E., Cambridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Rev. Mark Wolfe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association, Presbyterian World Service & Development or the Alzheimer’s Society of Perth County.

Ferne Wilson – of Caressant Care Retirement Home, Listowel, formerly of Newry, passed away peacefully on Friday July 6, 2018 at Listowel Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Ferne was a lifelong member of the Atwood United Church, the Atwood U.C.W. and the Atwood quilters.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events and celebrated with them every milestone and accomplishment, instilling in them a strong sense of family values.

Beloved wife and best friend for 59 years of the late Elwood (Pat) Wilson who predeceased her in 2016.  Lovingly remembered by her children Ron and his wife Debbie, Don and his wife Leanne, Karen Schmidt and her husband David and her treasured grandchildren Amanda, Becky, Terri and her friend Jeff, Cory, Kelsey and her friend Brennan, and Shelby.  Dear sister of Elma Konings (Adrian), Irene Wilson and sister-in-law of Doris McNeilly.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Hamilton – of Route 1 Atwood, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday July 5, 2018 at the age of 92. Dorothy was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Atwood Ladies Aid.  She spent many years farming with her husband Don as well as in the real estate business with him.  Dorothy was the primary care giver for her mother and mother-in-law for many years.  She cherished the time spent with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Don Hamilton who predeceased her in 2009. Loving mother of Sharon Vance (Jim), Doug (Lynne), Wayne (Wilma), Barb Cressman (John) and Joe DeBruyn (Dale).  Special nanny of Dawn Marie Smith (Jeff), Melissa Vance (Lorne Zweig), Troy Hamilton (Kristie), Tasha Hamilton (Greg McNevan), Kara Cressman, Kyle Cressman (Laura), and Loula Thalassinos (Teresa Purtill).  Remembered by her great-grandchildren Sydney Smith (Drew Pegrum), Brooklyn Smith, Payton Smith, Hayden Zweig, Eli Zweig, Nicholas Thalassinos, Camden, Hudson and Alexa McNevan, Erica, Maria, Isabel and Kayley Hamilton, Jensyn, Deklyn, Maisy, Beckett and Garrett Cressman and great great-grandchild Everly Pegrum.  Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Betty Elliott (Bob Wade) and many nieces and nephews.

Alvin Ludington – of Listowel, passed away surrounded by his family at University Hospital, London on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at the age of 80. Alvin was a member of Calvary United Church, Listowel.  He enjoyed hunting, playing cards and watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.  Alvin was always ready to help anyone and will be remembered as the flower delivery man for Zehr’s Florist.

Beloved husband of Judy (Smith) Ludington whom he married in 1964.  Loving father of Brian (Sharon), Bonita, Brent (Denise) and Brad.  Special grandpa of Alec, Lindsay, Simon and Sophie.  Dear brother of Eric (Carole), Ross (Margaret), Gordon (Barb) and Doris Harrow (Jim).  Fondly remembered by brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Elaine Pestell, David Smith (Janet) and by many nieces and nephews.

Shirley Ritz – formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully at Ritz Lutheran Villa on Sunday May 20, 2018 at the age of 89. Shirley was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.  She enjoyed quilting, fishing and going on bus trips.

Beloved wife of the late Alvin Ritz who predeceased her in 2001.  Loving mother of Lynda Cooper, David, Jim (Susan), Rhonda Sutherland, Lori Smith (Charles) and Steven (Diane).  Special grandma of 12 grandchildren and great-grandma of 23 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Lois Peever (Clarence) and sister-in-law of Ruth Vrooman and Jean Vrooman.

Ida was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, a former member of the Women’s Missionary Society, Maple Leaf Women’s Institute and the Listowel Chapter of Rebekah Lodge.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting, knitting, loved spending time with her family and enjoyed travelling with her husband Frank.

Beloved wife of the late Frank Cleland who predeceased her in 1995.  Loving mother of Shirley Nind (Derek), Joan Norman, Maureen Hayward (Stuart) and Jim Cleland.  Cherished grandma of 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  Fondly remembered by Ken Norman, Dawn Cleland, Brenda Walker, Lois Halpenny and many nieces and nephews.

LUDINGTON, Audrey of Atwood

Audrey Ludington – of Atwood passed away unexpectedly at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday April 23, 2018 at the age of 83. Audrey farmed on the 16th Line of Elma with her husband Fred, whom she also hunted with.  She was a ladies fastball coach and umpire for many years.  Audrey enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Blue Jays and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Ludington who predeceased her in 2011. Loving mother of David and Gayle Ludington.  Special grandma of Laura and Joe Kerr and their children Bensen, Gavin, Kylan, Grayson and Evelyn; Nicole and Mike Boneschansker and their children Nathan and Penelope; and Mary Pat Ludington.  Dear sister of Ken and Linda Baillie, John Baillie and sister-in-law of Cheryl Baillie.  Fondly remembered by Lenore Moser, Kristen and Bill Warden and their children Carter and Kyla.  Also remembered by the Ludington family and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Mark and Wilda (Baker) Baillie, brothers and sisters James, William and Alice, Donna and Jack Sanburn, Bob, Maxine and Richard Adair, and Barry.

Ross Duncan – of Listowel, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the age of 82.

Beloved husband of Lois (Nickason) Duncan whom he married in 1961. Loving father of Linda Oliver (Ron), David, Nancy Thompson (partner Tim Hough), Howard, and Tony.  Special grandpa of Zach Thompson (Paige Koch), Shannon Thompson (Noah Lindsay), Megan Oliver, Niki Oliver and great grandpa of Trent Thompson.  Dear brother of Doreen Seguin, Leone Duncan, Doris Illman (David), Marlene McHarg (Hartley), Joyce Hansen (Bob), and Brian Duncan.  Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Ken O’Grady, Peter Geerstma, Robert and Jackie Nickason and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ewart and Hazel (Gibb) Duncan, his sisters Velma Carruthers, Alma O’Grady, Marjorie Geertsma, his brothers Glen and his wife Mildred, Colin and brother-in-law Gilbert Seguin.

DALLNER, Brian of RR2 Grand Bend

Brian Dallner – of RR2 Grand Bend, formerly of RR2 Atwood, passed away at University Hospital, London on Monday April 16, 2018 at the age of 67. Brian will be remembered as a successful farmer and business man co-owning Listowel Feed Mill for over 20 years and later owning and operating Tim Horton’s in Grand Bend and Parkhill.  He loved spending time working with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Cheryl (Petrie) Dallner who predeceased him in 2011.  Dear father of Scott (Sherry), Bill (Melissa) and Patti Coghlin (Andrew).  Special Papa (Possum) of Madalyn, Joel, Logan, Carter, Grace, Sophia and Elise.  Loving partner of Karen Wilson.  Dear brother of Pauline Mueller (Keith), Charlie (Vivian), and Jean Welsh (Jim).  Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Wayne and Marilyn Petrie, Bev and Jack Porterfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Amil and Eileen (Scott) Dallner, brother-in-law Larry and his wife Marg Petrie and sister-in-law Vicky Dallner.

Aldeen Machan – formerly of Route 3 Monkton, passed away peacefully at Mitchell Nursing Home on Sunday March 11, 2018 in her 100th year.  Aldeen enjoyed dancing, playing cards, cooking and travelling with friends.

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd (Pud) Machan who predeceased her in 1979. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bonnie Golightly and friend Phil Hudson of Monkton, Fay Machan and Bob Mayberry of Listowel, Gord and Joanne, Robert (Whitey), Russ, Gerald (Sam) all of RR#3 Monkton and Roy of Brussels.  Special grandma of Doug, Dennis, Charlene, Sandra, Tammy, Stephen, Kathy, Sheryl, Kevin, Trevor, Ronnie, Julie, Josh, Jared, Jessica, great grandma of 17 and great great-grandma of 3.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sons Larry and wife Wanda (2015), Harvey (Hub)(1992) and son-in-law Wayne Golightly (2011).  She was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents John A. and Emelia (Vock) Wolfe, sisters Lavina Dill (Frank), Irene Steiss (Melvin) and brother Harvey Wolfe.

No visitation.  A private family service will take place.  Spring interment in North Logan Cemetery, Monkton.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 24th at Machan’s Pit.

SCHULTZ, Peter of Guelph

Peter Schultz – of Guelph passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at University Hospital, London on Friday March 2, 2018 in his 40th year.  Peter graduated from St. Jerome’s, University of Waterloo, with a math degree in the fall of 2000.  While at university, he was hired by Chris Murphy at GMA Cover Corp. as a co-op student and they became lifelong friends.  In December of 2008, they started their own business, VAS Canada Inc., doing third party quality control in the automotive sector.  Peter loved working with Chris and was thrilled to see their business grow over the past 10 years.  Peter had many friends with whom he spent enjoyable days on the golf courses around Guelph.  He loved watching TV sports with his friends, especially soccer and football which he followed very closely.  Peter was a kind and gentle man.  He had a keen mind, a sparkle in his eyes, and a great sense of humour.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dearly loved son of Ray and Brenda (Zehr) Schultz of Milverton.  Much loved nephew of Carol and Gerry Gerber, Sharon and Norman Roes, Hazel and Murray Gerber, Ruth and Bud Gerber, Rosie and Fred Lichti, Audrey Schultz, Frieda and Pete Schellenberger, and Del and Janet Schultz.  He will be sadly missed by his many cousins and friends.  Greatly missed by his best friends and business partner, Chris and Jackie Murphy of Guelph.

Predeceased by his grandparents Elroy and Emma Schultz and Vernon and Katie Zehr, his uncle Floyd Schultz and his cousin Jeremy Gerber.

HEWISON, Eric of Palmerston, formerly Trowbridge

Eric Hewison – of Palmerston, formerly of Trowbridge, passed away unexpectedly at Palmerston District Hospital on Sunday February 25, 2018 at the age of 87. Eric was the former manager of the Campbell Soup Hatchery.  He was the founder of the Listowel Horticultural Society in 1992 and was a master gardener.

Beloved husband of the late Pamela (Jollye) Hewison who predeceased him in 2012.  Loving father of Andrew (Brooke) of Palmerston, Rupert (Vicki) of Alberta and Tim of British Columbia.  Special grandpa of Jeremy, Mikey, Mitchell, Tony, Chris, Sarah, Cameron, Natalie, Nathaniel and great-granddad of Emmalee.  Brother and brother-in-law of Ernest (Joan) Hewison, Patsy Hewison and Geoffery Jollye.

Predeceased by his parents Howard and Nelly (Marklem) Hewison, brothers Jim, Reginald (Pat) and Ronald, and sister Mavis Loft.

Metzloff, Harry – of Listowel, formerly of Belwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the age of 92. Harry enjoyed spending time at Belwood Lake with his family and fixing lawn mowers.   He was a former bush pilot in Northern Ontario and worked for Forwell’s Sand and Gravel for over 25 years.

Loving father of Tim (Deanne) and Dave (Terry).  Grandpa of Robert, Darryl (Jennifer), Kevin (Melinda), Philip (Amanda), Alison, Heather and great-grandpa of Connor, Blake, Kyla, Desireh and Mikel.  Survived by step-sister-in-law Elizabeth Schaefer.

Predeceased by his parents Albert and Louise (Nickolas) Metzloff, son Richard, sister June Oestreich, brother-in-law Wayne Oestreich and step-brother Phil Schaefer.

Ambedian, Edward (Barky) – of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the age of 87. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family and at the horse racing track.  He was a retired employee of Campbell Soup Company after 30 years of service.

Loving father of Lynn, Marty (Jean), Kendal, and Leslie (Peter Kotanen).  Special grandpa of Desmond, Ricki, Krys, Simon and great-grandpa of Sienna.  Survived by his sisters Marguerite, Mary Meyers (Larry), Rosie Asadorian (Ernie), Virginia (Ray) and brothers Albert (Betty) and Dave.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ohannes and Marion (Ashukian) Ambedian and his brother Mike.

Dickinson, Donna – of Kitchener, passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, Cambridge on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at the age of 68. Donna was a devoted sister, aunt and great auntie and loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed music, playing cards and reading.

Survived by her sisters Ellen DeActis (Gary), Patricia Minielly (Jim) and brother Danny (Donna Ingraham).  Special aunt of Terry (Dawn), Linda (Aaron), Sue (Russ), Marie (Al), Sarah, Amanda (Mike) and William (Amanda).  Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Kathy Dickinson, many great-nieces, great- nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents Don and Fern (Huston) Dickinson and brother Doug.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382) on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.  Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.

SMITH, Barb of Lion’s Head, formerly Atwood

Barbara Smith – of Lion’s Head, formerly of Atwood, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of 65. Barb was a member of the Lion’s Head book club, enjoyed photography, volunteering at Golden Dawn Seniors Home and attending yoga classes.  She also enjoyed travelling and walking outdoors with her companion and guide Jemma who will truly miss her.  She was a fun-loving people person and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends.  She loved life and lived her life to the fullest.  Every sunset was enjoyed.

Beloved wife of Dave Smith whom she married in 1971.  Loving mother of Christa Beyer (Tim) and Steven Smith (Stephanie).  Special grandma of Sophie, Lily, Blake and Evan.  Cherished daughter of Marie (Debus) Schade.  Sister of Ken Schade and Brian Schade (Pauline).  Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mary Eckensviller (Ross), Elaine Foerster (Luke), Don Smith (Judy) and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her father Norman Schade, parents-in-law Ossie and Edith Smith, sister-in-law Dorothy Schade and brother-in-law Tom Foerster.

NETHERCOTT, Eileen – of Kitchener, formerly of Listowel passed away peacefully at her residence in Highland Place on Sunday January 14, 2018 at the age of 86. Eileen was a member of Atwood United Church.  She enjoyed quilting, making crafts and reading, but loved the time spent with her family.

Loving mother of Twila (predeceased 2016) (Dan Allen) and Tim Smith (Rose).  Special grandma of Scott (Kelly), Connie (Paul), Greg, Becky (Will), Stacey (A.J). and great grandma of Sarah, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Phillip and Kirsten.  Fondly remembered by step-children Nancy Sinnamon (Wayne), Jim Nethercott (Christina), Jeff Nethercott (Marie Claude), step-grandchildren Tyler, Natasha (Chris), Ryan, Noah, Adam and Clara, brother-in-law Wallace McKee, sister-in-law Myrtle Nethercott, the residents and staff at Highland Place where Eileen resided for nearly two years, and many dear friends.

Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Connie (Reddon) Rea, her first husband Ken Smith, son Douglas (in infancy), her sisters Verda Helgerman (Ed), Marjorie (in infancy), brother Roy (in infancy), her parents-in-law Hugh and Agnes Smith, sisters and brothers-in-law Marion McKee, Mac and Marjorie Smith, Jim and Violet Smith.  Also predeceased by her second husband Ken Nethercott, step-son John Nethercott and brother-in-law Roy Nethercott.

DINSMORE, Jack (Cooney) – of Listowel, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at the age of 79. Jack was a member of the former Trowbridge United Church.  He attended the McDonald’s Coffee Club, enjoyed the mystery weekend travelers group, camping with Betty and the Gatorville crew, and spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of the late Betty (Hamilton) Dinsmore who predeceased him in 2015.  Loving father of Mike (Shelley), Brian (Terry) and Paul (Bonnie). Special grandpa of Jeramey (Candace), Allison (Andrew), Tyler (Emily), Mark, Jeff (Danielle) and Lindsay (Danny).  Dear brother of Dave (Jean), Jean Ashley, Doris Ashley (Ron) and brother-in-law of Eileen Ament, Bob and Isabel Hamilton, and Pat Hamilton.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
