ASPDEN, Keith – With great courage and surrounded by his loving family, Keith Allan Aspden passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in his 69th year.  Loving husband for 50 years of Gloria (Noiles) Aspden.  Dearest dad to Tracey Thompson (Carl) of Woodstock, Allan Aspden (Theresa) of Woodstock, Melissa Aspden of Woodstock, Joseph Aspden (Karen) of Oakville and Amanda Aspden (fiance Steve Pounder) of Thornhill.  Special papa to Meghan, Christopher, Christina, Allan Jr., Michael, Keith Jr., Stephen, Andrew, Luke, Joshua and Sarah.  Keith will be missed by his brother Jack Aspden of Port Bruce and his sister A. Caren Bright of Woodstock.  Also survived by a sister-in-law Darlene Aspden of St. Thomas and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Doris (Brooks) Aspden and brothers Vincent, Kenneth and Victor Aspden.  The family would like to thank the staff of the palliative care unit at the Woodstock Hospital for all their support and care and the dignity they showed toward our dad, papa, brother and husband through this difficult time.  Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Dundas Street United Church, 285 Dundas Street, Woodstock from 1 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Bonnie Pilkey will officiate.  Interment at Harley Cemetery at a later date.  If desired, memorial donations to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
