ArmstrongLouisewebFrances Louise ARMSTRONG (Hammond)(nee Lumley) – of Sarnia and formerly of Petrolia, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013, 74 years, with her family by her side at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia.  Louise was predeceased by her husbands George Hammond (1975) and Jim Armstrong (2000). She will be missed by her children Patricia and Terry MacGregor, Robert “Chop” Hammond, David and Linda Hammond, Bonnie and Bob Wesley, Angie and Rob Brooks, and Wes Armstrong, her grandchildren, David, Nicky (Ryan), Jesse, Billy, Christopher, Penny (John), David (Tracey), Kristy, Jesse, Justin, and Julie, and her six great grandchildren.  She was a loving daughter of the late Stanley and Frances Lumley and sister of Robert and Clair Lumley, Betty and Red Wilson, Don and Jan Lumley, and the late Dan Lumley.   A funeral service will be held at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Visitors will be received prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  Interment will follow in Hillsdale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (www.heartandstroke.on.ca) or the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).   Memories, pictures, and condolences may be shared on-line at www.needhamjay.com.
