Linda Adam, 56, passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2019, surrounded by loved ones at Foothills hospital in Calgary.
She was deeply dedicated to her children, and loved her family above all else.
Linda was born in Calgary on Nov. 1, 1962, and was raised in Salmon Arm, B.C., before later moving back to the city of her birth. She was a self starter and entrepreneur, undertaking many business ventures throughout her life. She was passionate about her career in sales, and continued to work as her health declined. When Linda wasn’t at work, she loved to dote on her pets and spend time with loved ones.
She is survived by her sons, Ira and Sean; her nieces Rychelle and Jenn, nephew Shaun, and their children; as well as her beloved extended family and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her father Walter Hanson, and sister Susan Berg.
A memorial will be held at James River Community Hall in Sundre at Range Road 53, James River Bridge, on March 2, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Donations can be made in Linda’s memory to support her sons through a GoFundMe titled “Linda’s Battle Of A Lifetime,” or to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre who cared for Linda.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at the Foothills for their care through this difficult time.
