Hooker, Janice Arlene of Belmont, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, January 9th, 2014, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 50th year. Dearly loved wife of Brian “Sam” Hooker and much loved mother of Michael Hooker (Tracy) of Red Lake and Jill Leclerc (Nicolas) of Edmonton. Loved grandmother of Hunter. Loved daughter of  Evelyn (Thompson) Underhill  of Luton and the late Ronald Underhill.  Dear sister of Dave Underhill (Chris) of Luton, Dianne Chilcott of Woodstock and Jean Willows of Port Burwell. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Janice was born in Tillsonburg on May 6th, 1964. She was a member of Malahide United Church and of the Belmont Lionesses. She had been active a number of years with Belmont Minor Hockey and the Belmont Bombers Jr. D. Team.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Mapleton Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Sunshine Foundation.
