In her 72nd year, Margaret Ann Blake died from Parkinson’s Disease on October 13, 2012. She lived a full, accomplished and honourable life. Through each of her careers she chose jobs that helped people, especially children. Valuing education second only to family, she received her B.H.Sc. (Hon.), Teachers Degree, E.C.E., M. Ed., and C.H.R.P. Former Home Economics teacher and department head at Northern, E.C.E. Professor at Lambton, owner and operator of the Child Care Homes Program, Supervisor of the City of Sarnia’s Private Home Day Care Agency and Business Manager at St. Clair Child and Youth Services. Margaret loved travelling with family and friends and cherished those memories.  Margaret was an amazing mother to Colleen Sim (Mark Phillips) and an extremely proud grandmother of Lynden Evers. Dearly loved sister of Janet (Wayne) Beger, proud aunt of Jennifer (David) Laurie and Cameron Beger, and great-aunt of Angus and Lucy Laurie. Adored aunt of Carolyn Sim. Predeceased by parents Bert and Margaret Blake.  A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Sunday, October 21st at the Sarnia Riding Club between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Parkinson Society Canada.  Arrangements entrusted to SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
