Beloved husband of the late Golda (Chapman) and Finnie (Preston) Collett. Loving father of JoAnn Collett of Ottawa, Brent Collett (Karen) of Brockville and Judy Burns (Steve) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of David and Matthew Burns, and Leah, Justin and Anna Collett. Step father of Dale Fretwell (Denise), and step grandfather of  Carly Jo and Chad. Also survived by brother Wil Collett (Anne), sister in law Genice Collett, brother in laws Sterling and Lorne Chapman, special friend Ruth and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Len and Howard Collett (Helen).

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ann on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Aspen Lakes at 82 years of age. Wife of the late Francis Martin (1997). Survived by son Kirk (Helen) Martin and daughter Carolyn (Wayne) Sedore. She will be missed by her grandchildren Jessica (Daniel), Breandan, Connor, Michael, Ryan and Adam. Predeceased by her parents John and Claire (Langlois) McGarvey. Her siblings James (Marion) McGarvey, Joan (Gary) Sewell, Patrick McGarvey, Mary Catherine (James) Gauthier and Michael McGarvey. web_lira_johnIt is with broken hearts that we announce the death of John (Gianni) Lira, well-known Windsor resident and businessman who passed away on Sunday, October 30th at the age of 70.  John co-owned and operated Omni Tool for 28 years.  He will be deeply missed by his wife, Simone (Peladeau) to whom he was happily married for 42 years and their beloved sons, Craig and Marc (Stacey) and his precious grandchildren Adelina and Evianna. He will be sadly missed by his brother Ernie (Ernesto) and his wife Maria. He is predeceased by his parents Valentino and Maria Lira. Dear son-in-law of Alma and the late Gerard Peladeau, and brother-in-law of the late Rachelle (2013) and Phil Fournier, Michelle and Tom Quigley, Maria and Roger Parent, Mel and Sharlene Peladeau and Jean-Paul and Joan Peladeau   Uncle/Zio John will be lovingly remembered by a number of nieces and nephews who will miss him tremendously. His family was his greatest love but John also had a passion for sports (Maple Leafs, Lions, & Tigers) golf, biking, boating, cars, motorcycles and photography.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in Florida.  We will miss his calm guidance and humility.  He had a capacity for honesty and the ability to correct faults without judgement. Il fut prédécédé par une fille à la naissance Hélène (Manon). Lui survivent également plusieurs cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Born in The Netherlands to John (1987) and Anna (1987) Renkema, Peter immigrated to Canada in 1950. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne in 2005. Devoted father of John (Linda) of Uniondale, Ron (Debbie) of Oakville and Wayne (Gloria) Renkema of Strathroy. Cherished grandfather of Kate (Tyler), Adam (Chantel), Trevor (Kelsea), Andrey, Ally, Mitchell, Lucas, Noah and Abbey. Great grandfather to Ashlynn and Aria. Dear brother of Etty (Klaas) Leistra, John (Wilma) Renkema, Bill (Ann) Renkema, Paul (Teresa) Renkema, Matt (Nelda) Renkema and Jean (Mike) Talsma. Brother in law of Rita (Klaas) Van Wieren. passed away peacefully on October 27,2016 at Hotel Dieu Grace. Predeceased by loving husband Richard, she is survived by three children James (Tiah) Solway, Cathy (Mike) Campbell, and Joanne Solway. Four grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Jonathan and Isabelle, and siblings Bob, Tom (Marijean), Bev (Annette), Karen (Rod), Fred (Nancy), John, and Shawn. Loving sister-in-law to Terry (Wanda), Lois (late Jim), Kenny and many beloved nieces and nephews and special friends. Pat was retired from Ford of Canada after many years of service and was a proud member of Unifor Local 200. Passed peacefullybonnici surrounded by his family on October 27, 2016 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Aline Bonnici (nee Mercier). Father of Christopher (Jean Sheeler) and Elizabeth (Chris Pilon). Grandfather of Megan St.Amour, Mackenzie, Liam and Zac Knowles. Son of Frank(1981) and Carmen Bonnici. Brother of Michael (Zhila) Bonnici and Mary Ann (Andre) Casaubon. Son-in-law of Roger(1984) and Mary Mercier. Brother-in-law of John(2008) Mercier and is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Phil retired from Chrysler Automotive in 1998 after more then 30 years of service. Visitation will take place at the Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 from 2-5pm and on Monday, October 31st, 2016 from 10am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Phil’s family would like to specially thank all the caregivers that assisted him and our family over the last few months including the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, WRH – Metropolitan Campus, CCAC and the VON nurses. Passed peacefully onjean October 25, 2016 at the age of 54. Dearly missed by his loving wife of 26 yrs. Louise and his 2 sons Matthew and Bradley. He will forever be in the hearts of his parents Ray and Monique, his brothers Denis (Rose), Brian (Kelly), the late Richard (1993) and his brother in laws Richard (Cathie), Raymond and Roger. Uncle Mike to Rob, Keagan, Nicole, Ryan T, Ryan J, Nathan, Logan and Lily. Predeceased by his parent in laws Ray and Lena Tonkin. Visitation will take place at the Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 from 1-3pm and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 2:00pm. Family and friends are invited to join directly at St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Church (488 St. Charles Ave. Belle River) for Memorial Mass on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:30am. Words cannot express our thanks to all the Staff, Doctors, Caregivers and Volunteers at Hospice of Windsor and Essex County for all of the immaculate care given to Mike and our family, especially Michelle and Christine.
