LAFORTUNE, NormanIt is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Camille and the late Yvonne (née Savard) Lafortune. Dear husband of Marie Lafortune. Loving father of Rolly Lafortune (Sarah), Lori-Ann Lafortune, Bonnie Lafortune (Mike) and Wendy Lafortune. Survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Predeceased by many siblings. Loving grandfather of Robyn, Nicholas, Amber, Zack, Cody, Emily, Liam, Bailey, Katelynn, Sky and predeceased by Alexis. Great- grandfather of Preston and Darius. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Hubert Racicot in 2002. Loving mother of Angèle Racicot (Ed Levesque), Line Brabant (André) and Ronald Racicot (Wendy). Cherished grandmother of Kayla, Jeffrey, Jennifer-Lee, Natasha, Michelle and Devon. Great-grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Rose-Aimée, Lucille, Léonard, Jean-Guy and Gilberte. Predeceased by her siblings, Lucien, Fernand and Alice. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Denise was an avid bowler in the Saturday night mix league of Chelmsford.  She enjoyed many family activities such as camping, fishing and golfing. Born in Newbury, daughter of the late Elliott and Edith (Alderton) Stocking. Betty had worked for Dr. Cable and Dr. Loyens, and had worked and Four Counties Health Services and Tender Tootsies. She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge, Newbury.  Betty was predeceased by her first husband Clare Walker and her late husband Roy Horst. Loving mother of Marie Marsh (Tim) of Bothwell, and the late Robert Walker. Loving grandmother of Chad Tunks, and Tonya Sipple (Jim) and great-grandmother of Eddie, Auston, Carsen and Brayden. Sadly missed by her step-grandchildren Terry Marsh (Billy Jo), Angie VanHorn (Shane), Bill Marsh (Lindsey), Matt Marsh (Marcie) and their families. LANDRY, NormanIt is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the age of 56 years.  Predeceased by his father Ovide Landry. Loving son of Noëlla Santerre (Arcand) and André Santerre.  He will be tremendously missed by his wife and best friend of 35 years Louise Landry (Gaudet) and his cherished son, Brandon.  Grandson to George Landry and Claudia Desjardins and Laurenza and Emile Arcand, all predeceased.  Norm will always be in the hearts and prayers of his sisters Francine Laurin (Daniel), Carole Santerre-Jones (Brian), his brother Robert Landry, dear mon-oncle to Eric, Patrick, Mélanie and Zoe.  Norm was a diesel mechanic for Eimco Jarvis Clark for 15 years between 1976 and 1991 where he befriended many and formed bonding friendships.  More recently, Norm worked as a mechanic for McDowell Equipment for various periods of time.   In his early days, Norm enjoyed his time on the ice playing hockey in the winter with his friends and baseball in the summer months.  His passion in these last few years was being on the golf course with Louise whenever he could and remembered with great fondness their trip to PEI.  Sincere thanks are extended to the many doctors and nurses of Health Sciences North that cared for Norm during his short stay in the hospital and their compassion in his final days. Norm’s journey has taken him to a place of peace, joining his best friend Paul who he missed dearly.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 from 2-4:30 p.m.  A memorial service will follow in the funeral home Chapel at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

LANDRY, JordanIt is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beautiful, brave son Jordan Perry Landry on September 20, 2013.  He was nine years old.

Born on the first day of summer and passed into eternity on the final day of summer, Jordan was a brilliant ray of sunshine who touched the hearts of many.  His fun-loving, vibrant and sparkling personality made him friends wherever he went.  Jordan loved hockey (especially the Chicago Blackhawks), The Wiggles, Imagine Dragons, being on stage and entertaining.  He loved people and was deeply compassionate to the suffering of others.  Jordan faced his lifelong battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome with incredible courage and grace.  Jordan is forever in our hearts and we take solace in knowing that he is now with God.

Jordan is deeply mourned by his loving parents Nancy and Matthew (Matty) Landry and cherished sister Reegan of Dowling.  He is grealty missed by his devoted Grandma Audrey Armstrong of Onaping and grandparents Linda and Mark Landry of Cartier, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.  Heartfelt gratitude is extended to: Dr. Van Arsdell, Dr. Benson and Dr. Murray; Child Life Sick Kids and staff of 4D and CCU at the Hospital for Sick Children; A. web_Fedele_MargueritaIt is with broken Hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother at the age of 86, on September 29, 2013, with her loving family by her side.  Reunited with her husband Emilio (2003).  Devoted mother of John (Jan Gallo), Cesare, Mario (Angela Tomaselli), Mary Perpich (Tony Alleva), Bernadette Cuffaro (Mike), Lina (Kim Scott), and her youngest daughter Michelle, who took care of her so dearly.  Daughter of the late Augostino and Beralda Gimigliano, and daughter-in-law of the late Carolina Fedele and Fedele Cesare.  Beloved mother-in-law of Carol Fedele and Peter Hall.  Predeceased by her sons Francesco (2002) and Giovanni Salvatore (1948), and her grandchildren, Catherine Kairalla-Hubartt (2011) and Brice O. Scott (2006).  Beloved Nonna of Christopher (Maria), Emilio, Amy (Keith), Calogero, Michael, Mark (Krissy), Scott and Kimberly (Chad).  Loving Bis-Nonna of Rocco, Reid, Emily, Ashley and Scott.  She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Nella Germanese (Antonio), and Sissina Bini (Giuseppe).  Predeceased by her sister Josephine Bini (1976) (Alex).  She will be missed by Lisa Mollica (Dino) and Anna Saab (Doug Steele) who she loved like her own daughters.  She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada, Italy and France. Bailey, RobBAILEY: Robbie “Rob” – Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, surrounded by family on Sunday, September 29th, 2013 at the age of 56. A resident of Blenheim, Rob is survived by his mother Bernice Filby (Sam) of Northwood, his brothers Ron Bailey (Anna) of Blenheim,and Randy Bailey (Linda) of Kamloops, B.C.; by his step-sisters Charlene Meredith of Keswick and Chrissie Filby (Fred) of Chatham, step-brother Randy Filby of Toronto, his son Ryan Bailey of Blenheim, Erica Gullekson and Trevor Gudmonson of Alberta and several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. Rob is survived by his life long friends Grant Smith, Dean Gordon and Jacob Burk. Rob is predeceased by his father, Frank, and his brother Ric (2012). Rob retired from Navistar after 32 years of service. Cremation has taken place. Peacefully at the Watford Quality Care Centre, on Monday, September 30, 2013 Pearl Beatrice MacKenzie passed away at the age of 98.

Beloved wife of the late Alec MacKenzie (1993).

Loving mother of Janet Mater.

Cherished grandmother of Rodney (Tammy) Mater, Bernadine (Joe) Librerio, Jason Mater (Pam), and Aaron Mater (Tina).

Great grandmother to 10 great grandchildren.

Survived by her Son-in-law Robert Mater, sister-in-law Marjorie MacKenzie, and daughters-in-law Jill and Christan and also several nephews and a niece.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at NEEDHAM JAY FUNERAL HOME, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia.

Loving father of Marj and husband Ron Garant, Laurie Kowtiuk and Paul Desjardins, Anita and husband Dan Bleasby. Treasured grandfather of Bradley (Shannon), Brandon (Kerri), Josh, Greg (Kailey) and Tabitha. Papa of Cole, Sydney, Sierra, Tyler, Brodie, Mylee and Mason.  Loving brother of Elgin (Phyllis), Audrey (late Harold), Roy, Dave (Joanne), Victor (Pat), Clayton (Dani) and Jean. Predeceased by his sisters, Joy (1933), Gail (1954) and his brothers, John (1964), Nelson (1972), Douglas (1988), Willy (2006) and Don Sr. (2009). Passed away peacefully at Iler Lodge on September 16, 2013 in his 89th  year. Loving husband of Charlotte (nee Wilson) for 69 years of marriage. Dear father of Judy and husband Bill Libby, Greg and wife Karen Phillips, April Gale, and Bradley Phillips. Son of the late Vera and Percy Phillips. Treasured Grandfather of Stephanie (Jeff), Brett (Kelly), Tate (Leanne), Reed (Kaleigh), Shay (Dustan), Amber, Cory (Laurie), Kyle, and Paige. Great-grandfather of six great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Jack (Doris), the late Leonard (late Doreen), the late Bob (late Gloria), and the late Tom (Barb). Brother-in-law of Janet Stephenson and the late Garnet, Harriet, Everett, Evelyn, Shirley, Opal, and Ruby. Joe was a dairy farmer in Essex County as well as a grower/harvester/trucker for Green Giant. Joe was in business for 41 years as the founder of J.R. Phillips Trucking Limited. He was a longtime member of Bethel-Maidstone United Church. He enjoyed many years of hunting. His winters were spent in Florida where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends.
