Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1400 Murphy Rd., Sarnia. Born inWindsor,Ontario, son of the late Urgele Oscar & Almira Marie (Bechard) Regnier. Beloved husband and best friend for 34 years of Helen (Liberty) Regnier. Dear father of two daughters Michelle & Mike Frak,Pain Court; and Sandy & Brian McGorman,London. Cherished grandfather of Amber Frak; and Stuart & Paris McGorman. Also survived by two sons Tim Regnier & his family and Kevin Regnier & his family. Brother of Albert & Velina Regnier;  Ron & Theresa Regnier; Richard & Bonnie Regnier; Patricia Bechard & Sandra Violot. Brother-in-law of Charles & Lillian Liberty; Ben & Lynn Liberty; Patricia & Terry Oster; Linda Richley. Pre-deceased by brothers-in-law Larry Bechard; Randy Violot & Ralph Richley. Doerksen (Froese), Irene – Irene peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 30 at 82 years.  “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” 2Cor.5:8.  Irene was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry (Sept.21, 2011) with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.  Irene leaves behind her 5 children John (Judy), Hedy DeRose (Rick deceased), Frieda Stratton (Dean), Henry (Arlene), and Marlene Neufeld (Mark A.), her grandchildren Wesley, Sandra (Gord), Jessica, Julia (Drew), Jeanette, Brian, Jenny (Aarron), Steven, Brock, Alyss, Doug, Mark H. Gene was a true Windsorite, a devoted member of the Windsor Roseland Golden K Kiwanis Club and longtime member of Glenwood United Church. Gene retired from accounting out of Green Giant Canada. LEIGH:  Peacefully, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, Wednesday, August 29, 2012, Rowland “Bob” Warburton Leigh, age 80, formerly of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, Haileybury and Timmins. Beloved husband of Sheila (Sorrell) Leigh.  Loved father of Tania and Kevin Schmidt of Cambridge and Rowland Leigh of Wiarton.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Keith and Maureen Leigh, Adrian and Jacqueline Leigh, Ivan and Diane Leigh all of Bolton, England, George and Sheena Sorrell of Norfolk County, England. In Toronto he was with Rio Algam, in Northern B.C. with Cassiar Mine, in the Yukon with Clinton Creek Mine, in Calgary and Pittsburgh with Costain Mining, in Vancouver with Wright Engineers, in Timmins with Royal Oak, Pamour Mine,  and in N.W.T. with Colomac Mine before retiring reluctantly in 1996 to Haileybury, then Grand Bend, Ontario. THATCHER, Doris…. At Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, August 30, 2012, Doris (Tyrrell) Thatcher, in her 90th year, went to be with her Lord. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Thatcher. Loving mother of Terry Thatcher and his wife Barb of London and Bonnie Wright and her husband Mel of Sarnia. Cherished “Grammy” of Vanessa, Jessica, Christopher (Christina), and Stephanie (Scott). Doris will be missed by her nieces and many close friends. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (10-11am) to the funeral service, being conducted in the chapel of the A. Loving father to Barbara Watson, Shelley Villemaire (Joe), and Ronald Cabanaw. Cherished grandfather to Corey, Jared, Jake, Rachel, and Kenny. Dear uncle to Rick and Sherry Theoret.
