Shirley Marie Hallman of Chesley, passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in her 79th year.

Shirley was employed for many years at the law firm of Sutherland, Hagherty, Mark and Sommerville.

Beloved wife of Doug. Loving mother of Scarlett (Roy) Klinkhammer of Guelph; Paul (Margo) Hornung of Waterloo and step-mother of Brian Hallman of Waterloo; Barry (Bonnie) Hallman of Winnipeg; Bradley Hallman of Cambridge and David (Julia) Hallman of R.R. #1 Ayr. Cherished grandmother of Amber, David, Lisa, Roxy and step-grandmother of Andrew, Sarah, Lauren and Amber as well as great-grandmother of Tyler and Sienna. Shirley was predeceased by her brother Clifford Smith and her parents, William and Inez (Martin) Smith.

Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.

Loving grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Born in Toronto, Helen was the daughter of the late Harry and Katherine (Phillips) Mack. Beloved wife of 47 years to the late Everett L. Smith (1993). Loving mother of Rev. Joan Smith of South River, Robert Smith (Lorraine) of Corunna, Donald Smith (Andrea) of Montreal and Lynda Smith of Chatham. Proud grandmother of Jeffrey Smith of Montreal. Predeceased by infant son Bruce Douglas Smith and by infant granddaughter Evelyn Laura Smith. Also predeceased by her sister Dorothy Crockford, her brother Harold Mack and her twin sister Anna Stubberfield. Dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Helen was a woman of deep faith who held her family above all else. She was a member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church and thoroughly enjoyed many of the activities there. She also enjoyed playing the piano, going for drives, square dancing and was reputed as the “Family Scrabble Champion”. FOEKENS: Maria. At his appointed time, the Lord took home our Mom, Oma, and Great-Oma Maria Foeken (nee Luijendijk) on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Meadow Park Nursing Home. Born in Hillersberg, The Netherlands, daughter of the late Marinus and Hendrina (Van Middelkoop) Luyendijk. Wife of the late Adriaan Foekens (1977). Mother of Jane and Paul Rivard, Ina and Andy Beintema, Marg and Lou Beintema, Irene Vanderveer and friend Al LaMarsh, Walter and Audrey Foekens, Murray and Barb Foekens, and Sylvia and Hank Weilhouwer. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Sister of Hermina Luyendijk of The Netherlands and also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and The Netherlands. Predeceased by her birth mother Hermina Stekelenburg, sons Jack Adrian (1957), Marinus (2005), son-in-law Tim Vanderveer (2005), 2 grandchildren, sister Cornelia Kruit and brother-in-law Leen Kruit. Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, March 27th, 2012, Ron Hugill of London at the age of 73. Beloved husband and best friend of Peggy (Zurbrigg) Hugill. Predeceased by daughter Debbie (1962) and parents Clarence and Bernice Hugill. Devoted father of Lisa (Omar) Hakim, Christine (Sean) Beer and Nancy (Richard) Masse, all of London. Loving Grandpa and Papa of Larissa, Taylor, Spencer, Ryan and Jordyn.  Ron will go to join his four legged companion Joey and greatly missed by his buddy Coby. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bernard Calhoun at age 70 on Thursday, March 22, 2012.  Bernard died doing what he loved, traveling with his cherished wife Judi in the American Southwest.  Beloved father of Leslie Calhoun and partner Jeff Wearn, Dave Bennett and wife Julia, Holly O`Neil and husband Scott and David Calhoun.  Dear brother of Beth Graham and husband Dennis, Janice Hill and husband Chuck, Charles Burns and wife Delrose and Doug Burns and wife Mary.  Bernard derived great joy from his grandchildren Xinya and Kyanna Calhoun, Joshua, Grace and Jack Bennett, Ashlyn, Kaylee, Zach and Chelsea O`Neil.  He was predeceased by his father Max Calhoun, mother Mabel Calhoun and step-mother Margaret Calhoun.  Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (519-776-4233) on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. STANSKI: Ann Marie. A resident of Chatham, Ann Stanski passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Obroz, Yugoslavia, daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Engelhoffer) Prohaska. Beloved wife of the late Walter Stanski (2002). Dear mother of Shirley Green and her husband Ken of Blenheim, and Robert Stanski of Chatham. Grandmother of Jessica Green, Katie Cox (Todd), Nicole Stanski, and Raylene Stanski (Josh Couture). Great-grandmother of Hayden Couture. Sister of the late Sebastien Prohaska (2005). Sister-in-law of Jean Carey of Chatham, and Edmira Stanski of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stanski was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, and past member of the Official Board.
