Peacefully, after a courageous battle, at Parkwood Hospital, London on Sunday, December 25, 2011, of London in her 76th year.  Missed by her children Roger (Dianne), Nikki, Robert and James (Sarah).  Survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter, her brother Jack (Joan) and her husband David Burrows.  Predeceased by her son Douglas Aoki, her parents Ellen (Nellie) and John (Jack) Clark, sisters Irene Pamplin and Joyce McCoy and brother Ronald.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 7th floor-University Hospital and 3A East-Parkwood for their encouragement, support and care while Barb fought the battle and for ensuring her comfort and dignity throughout.

Barb’s friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life at Parkwood Hospital, Western Counties Wing, Chapel of the Good Shepherd (enter at Parking Lot 1) on Thursday, January 12th at 11 AM with Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating.  Cremation.

Peacefully at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Peter Timmermans of West Lorne in his 88th year.  Predeceased by his wife Helen (Aarts) in 2004; daughter Joanne Campbell (wife of Grant); brothers Harry and John Timmermans.  Peter was a retired farmer.

Passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on December 6, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Kettle & Stony Point First Nation.  She will be sadly missed by her family and the community as a whole.  Predeceased by her parents Bruce and Hilda George and her husband Floyd Alexander Wilde (1975). Peacefully at Exeter Villa on Monday, December 19th 2011 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Norman Stanlake (1997). Cherished mother of Douglas and his wife Patricia of London, Eleanor of Toronto and Barbara of Whitby. Dear grandmother of Jordan (Susan), Sabrina and Samantha; Nicholas and Alexander. Proud great grandmother of Makayla. Special aunt to Gwen O’Rourke, Joan (Nick) Vandermey, Marg Dale and Ken (Pat) Britton. Predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Olive and Herbert Britton and her parents David and Hannah (Thomson) Workman. Mabel was a resident on Thomas Street in Exeter for over 60 years, a business partner with her husband in the operation of the Highland Hill Dairy, a teacher in several one room schools in Huron County, a very active member of Caven Presbyterian Church, a charter member of the South Huron Hospital Auxiliary, and a treasured friend of many in the Exeter community.  A thank you to Dr. Steciuk, the entire staff of the Exeter Villa, members of Caven, her neighbours and relatives for their care, comfort and concern.

Suddenly at the University Campus of London Health Sciences Centre on Friday, December 16th, 2011, Garry Wilbert McLeish of Forest in his 64th year. Garry is survived by his loving wife Diana and by children Heather (Steven) Kelly of Petrolia and Angela (Shawn) Lester and by grandchildren Espen, Gavin, Seth and Maddison. Garry will be missed by his sister Joyce Pickard (Roy Walters) and also by several nieces and nephews. Garry will be fondly remembered by all of his brothers and sisters in law.  Predeceased by parents Howard and Myrtle and by brother Norman. Also survived by father-in-law Walter Ravell and predeceased by mother-in-law Doreen Ravell. Garry will also be missed by his many dear friends.  Garry proudly served his community as a Paramedic for 33 years. After a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis, John passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his close family at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, Ontario on November 29th in his 67th year.

Born in London, Ontario on April 17th, 1945, John attended Oakridge Secondary School before he joined the CPGA in 1963. He was the Assistant Golf Professional to John Moffat Sr. at Thames Valley Golf Club in London, Ontario from 1963 to 1970. From there he moved to Weston Golf and Country Club as Assistant Golf Professional to Gord Delaat. In 1973, he and his wife, Wendy, moved to Leamington, Ontario where he was the Head Golf Professional at Erie Shores Golf and Country Club for 23 years. John then became the Teaching Professional at Orchard View Golf Course where he focused on teaching and his true passion, clubmaking. In 2003 John became the co-owner and manager of the Bluffs of Port Stanley Golf Club until his retirement to Port Franks in 2010.

His love for his family and friends and his passion for life, golf, music, antique cars, car racing, golden retrievers, and photography sustained him through his heroic battle with a terminal disease. He will be deeply missed by Wendy, his wife and soul-mate of 42 years, his daughters Keri (Mike) and Ashley, his sister Betty (Barry), his nephew David (Kristine), his cousin Jim (Marg), and numerous other family members, friends and colleagues.

After a lengthy struggle with pulmonary fibrosis, on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Bluewater Health Services, Sarnia. Timothy Frank Hill of Forest in his 70th year. Tim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marilyn (nee James) of 40 years and by children Peter (Erin Binns) of Toronto and Erin (Allan) Bennetto of Deacon, ON, and by his grandson Holden Bennetto. Tim is survived by sister Darlene (Wally) Wellinghoff of Brevard, NC and by his brother David K. Hill (Cindy Carroll) of Calgary, AB. Predeceased by infant granddaughters Brooklyn and Madison, brothers Paul and Barry (Dorothy) Hill, parents Paul and Lily Hill and stepfather Norman Hobbs. Survived by father-in-law Albert James. Tim is remembered by step-siblings Norm (Ginny) Hobbs and Marj (Chuck) Irwin, and by sister-in-law Doris Hill. Tim will be missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Tim proudly served as priest in various parishes throughout the Anglican Diocese of Huron.

Dear mother of Floyd Brian Jr. (Heather) of Peterborough, Katherine Marie Burke (Tom) of Chatham, Pamela Collette of Talbotville and Joan Elizabeth Williams (Bruce) of Bermuda. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Hazel Freeman, brother Robert and sister Lila.

Beloved daughter of the late Wesley and Hattie Thomas, beloved wife of the late Ronald Jeffery and the late Herbert Arthur Walkey; cherished mother and mother-in-law of Anne and Peter Venton; loving grandmother of Margot Venton Boyd and Michelle Venton Orviss; dear sister of the late Irving Thomas and dear sister-in-law of Helen Thomas; proud great grandmother of Meredith Venton Boyd and Scarlett Elizabeth Grace Orviss.

At Valleyview Nursing Home, St. Thomas on Monday, November 21, 2011, George Andrei, formerly of West Lorne in his 98th year. Predeceased by his wife Maria (January 2011); granddaughter Monica Andrei; daughter-in-law Jeannie Andrei; brother Todor Andrei and sister Ana Paunescu. Dear father of George Andrei Jr., Veronica Rose and Maria Grigore (Dr. Emil Grigore). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Cindy Mercanti (Dino) and their children Dominique and Nicholas, George Andrei (Jo-Anne) and their children George and Jamie-Lynn, Loretta (Jim) Tremtsidis and their children Julia and Thomas, Edward Rose and Robert Grigore.

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, November 19th, 2011. Frances Eloise Dolmage (nee Attwood) of Forest at age 87. Frances is predeceased by her loving husband Basil (1998) and survived by her children Dale (Lynn) Dolmage of Barrie, Dianne (Glenn) Carson of Sarnia, Karen Thomas of Warwick Village and Kevin (Thelma) Dolmage of Forest. Also survived by grandchildren Darcy (Jennifer) and Ryan Dolmage; Cynthia (Richard) Preece and Angelina (Scott) Atkin; Derek (Elizabeth) Thomas, Daryl (Mallory Core) and Darren Thomas (Dawn Capes); Jennifer, Heather and Michael Dolmage and predeceased by twin grandsons Johnathan and Jason Dolmage (1989). Great grandmother to Tyler and Claire Dolmage, Ayden McKay, Carter Atkin, Nash, Megan and Michelle Thomas and Rilee Thomas. Also survived by sisters Doris Wilkinson of Forest and Inez Goodhand of Forest. Predeceased by sisters Ivadell, Lucielle, Jean, Mildred, Leone and Shirley. Frances was a proud long time farmer in the Forest area. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 of Exeter in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Clifton (Cliff) O. Brock. Dear mother of John and Marlene Brock of Crediton and Fred and Donna Brock of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Jennifer; Laurie and Gary, Adam and great-grandmother of Jackson and Nathaniel. Dear sister of Marie Brock and Eveleen Stephens all of Mitchell. Missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Harvey, Clyne, Bill, Lloyd, Harry, Glenn, Alton and Edward.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Exeter Cemetery with Bob Heywood officiating. Cremation.
